Re: What are you reading now?

Winter's Heart by Robert Jordan. I love the Wheel of Time Series!
I also just started the first "Shannara" book.... I like to read more than one book at once.

Re: What are you reading now?

I'm reading the fourteenth edition of Uncle John's Supremely Satisfying Bathroom Reader by the Bathroom Research Institute. Basically, a book of random trivia, stories, etc.. It's actually quite interesting.

Currently too lazy to read anything "real", as nothing seems to interest me right now.

Winter's Heart is awesome. It breaks through the lethargy that is gripping the series by that point... an amazing book. Too bad Crossroads of Twilight was so awful.

And the Shannara series is quite good. Not the best out there, but still worth reading. The Sword of Shannara is the worst of the series, with the exception of the First King of Shannara.

Myself, I finished Wild Magic.

I am now back to reading the New Jedi Order books, catching up with everything I've missed. It's the best thing to happen to Star Wars since the original trilogy. Too bad it's finished now; it will be impossible for them to top this.

I am now reading Force Heretic 2: Refugee

Re: What are you reading now?

HEY L-O-Z I read "The Sword of Shannara" but I thought that was the only book there was, I am not sure if this one is the one you are talking about but did looked like LOTR. By the way do all the books follow the same story? or are they all different?

Re: What are you reading now?

The Sword of Shannara is the first of a 12-book series, csbellina. And no, they do not all have the same story.

The second book is called "The Elfstones of Shannara".

Re: What are you reading now?

I've just started reading the neon Genesis Evangelion manga series. I borrow them out from the local library .
Does anybody here ever read magazines? I have a subscription to "ASM - Australia Skate Magazine". I occasionally get "Slam - Australasian Skate Magazine" and "Zappy" which is a japanese music magazine. A few years ago I had a subscription to "NMS - Nintendo Magazine System" which was nintendo's (official) magazine in Aus. Production got stopped for some reason that I can't remember. It was my favourite out of all the game magazines but looking back at it now it was incredibly bias to nintendo (duh!).

Re: What are you reading now?

Manga as usual. I recentley borrowed the first 5 volumes of CCS from my friend and I'm reading those. But as far as real books, I'm too smart for those. V_V

Re: What are you reading now?

I quite like the CCS manga. I don't have any of the series one books but I have the first series two book. Thats the series where she *semi-spoiler, not really* makes her own cards.
The artwork is nice and crisp.

Edit: Also read Nintendo Power, Electronic Gaming Monthly, GameInformer, and Newtype USA when it comes to mags.

Re: What are you reading now?

I'm finished with the book I got for christmas, so I've started reading an old oveer again. This is also a discworld-book and it's called Lords and Ladies. As all the other books, it is brilliant.

Re: What are you reading now?

I am currently reading Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. It's about.. well, hard to explain. go to http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=books to see what it's about. Stilll haven't gotten that far in it yet though. I'm reading it slowly so it will last.
