So, Paranoia Agent....

....is one of the most well written cartoons I've ever seen. Seriously, I love it.

Each episode and short story could actually stand on thier own and still be great.

This anime can be funny, errie, mysterious and philosopical. Anybody else been following this?

Yess. I saw the very first episode when it premiered on Adult Swim, and right from the start, I loved it. Original and gets you thinking, I'd have to say this is actually my favorite anime. Nothing comes close to it, though I have missed a few episodes inbetween...that's not a problem though.

The thing I really like about it:

Most anime that try to be philosphical either overdue it to point that it's a confusing mess (Big O) or end up being really annoying and angsty (Evangelion, Soul taker).

PA does it perfectly. It's not at all hard to follow and is often extremly deep despite that.

Paranoia Agent confused me to great lengths in the last episodes...but then I was like. "OH. DUH." The interrogation of 'The Holy Warrior' was hilarious.

I don't think it was the last episode of the series...I don't exactly know how many there are...I think it's 13...but I can never keep count. I just watch it at 1:30 at night then go to bed.

yes, PA is a great show, possibly one of my favourite, everything makes sense, yet has a complicated story, the themes aren't overly mature, and the animation is to die for. The concept is brilliant also, and the jumpy feeling that the show gives off is new, and nice.

I'm not that much a fan of anime these days, but PA impresses me to no end.

Heh, I love the series. It looks fairly shallow at first glance, then you jump in and you find it's deep enough to drown in.
I also like how it's philosophical, but in a lighthearted way rarely seen by anyone. Most series that try to be like that try to be hard-hitting and angsty, which can get ridiculously over the top.

PA is awsome. Lil' Sligger comes out of nowhere & hits, people emotionaly corned, with a bat. The last episode was weird though, I didn't really get it.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing all 13 episodes and I have to say, I was blown away. It's taken the crown as my favorite anime series, replacing Cowboy Bebop. The best episode, despite the fact that it had no real relevence in the overall plot was Episode 8 "Happy Family Planning". It was such a unique episode. It takes an idea that's incredibly dark and plays it like a happy romp through the countryside. That's why I love Paranoia Agent, I always get the feeling that I'm watching something I have never seen before.

This is the best anime show I've seen. I love the story, the characters, and it might even be my favourite show. They're airing the episodes in order currently so I'm watching everyone. There's 13 right? #6- The Holy Warrior was just on, and that was hilarious. This and Case Closed were my two all-time favourite shows. (Will they ever show Case Closed on CN at 3 am ever again?)

I don't think I've seen all of the episodes, but I'm sure I saw most of them. When I first started watching it I didn't understand it, but when I watched more of the episodes it began to make a little more sence.

I saw all of them its a good show but why is it still on what about FLCL welll to get back on topic this show ROCKS but its not my favriote out of favriotes I like the show its good.
