Does anyone here like KISS?!

Man I dont see how people dont like Kiss nowadays, sure they are kinda old, but they have great music! Im like a little under 16, and they are one of my favorite bands!

I especially like Deuce, Dr. Love and of course Rock and Roll all Night!

What about you guys what do you think of them?

I think they're absolutely atrocious, but at least I'd prefer them over a lot of other music around right now.

Well, I kinda like them. I like their song "Rock and Roll all Night".

I agree. I can't really see why they were so popular... then again, I can't see why a lot of today's music is popular, either.

I dont really like the music where they get into the microphone and scream, but kiss is Kool!! Im mean sure the make up is a little weird, but its still sweet!

KISS is overrated. Not to mention sellouts: Kissopoly, anyone?

Many would have you believe otherwise, but KISS is a great band, in my eyes. Probably one of the more influential bands of the mid 70's to early 80's, a band whose music still rings loud in the ears of a generation. Easily among the ranks of my favourite bands.

True, many people don't like KISS anymore, and from the outside looking in, they just appear like a washed-up, trashy 70's rock band. That doesn't change the fact that KISS still has an impressive canon of classics under their belt. Namely, songs like, Tomorrow and Tonight, God of Thunder, Tears are Falling, and, everyone's favourite teen anthom, Rock and Roll All Nite.

It makes no difference to me if their music isn't overtly complicated, or tries to be deep, or philosophical. It's good old fashioned rockin', and thats what really counts.

I am 17, and if listening to KISS is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.

I've heard that before, and I'm not quite sure. It's an interesting theory, but I've never really looked into it. I personally think it's just a rumour, but I could be wrong.

No, that's just a rumor. The reason KISS doesn't tell people that is they go for any press they can get, "news is good news".

Personally, they're definitely NOT my favorite.

KISS are a great band. I have the Crazy Nights CD and also the Gold double disk Greatest Hits. I love them - they're music is so catchy and great. I think they were the biggest cult band of the 80's bar none.

Ugh, they're so bad. They're so terribly cheesy and stupid. Listening to them is like watching a rap video, it's all so cliche and painful. >_<

Im a fan of KISS they are a great band dispice of what you may say about them. Yes a lot of their albums are just crap... i have to say it, but they are one of the greates bands of all times. I won't say anything about the other opinions becouse i don't really know you yet guys so i don't know if you really know about music or you just listen to the "popular" music.
