Your Favorite Song

What your favorite song? Well, mine is "Bat Country" by Avenged Sevenfold. That song is too awsome! What about you?

When I'm gone.

Eminem may be the most hated artist on this site, but I still think he's a God of Rap. Now he's retiring. Fack.

Eminem's far from being the most hated. A thread on my favorite group, ICP, was filled with whole pages of people saying how much they hated the group. Only two other people on this site like that group. (That I know of)

My favorite song is "Terrible". From the CD "The Jeckel Brothers" by ICP. My second favorite song is "Halls of Illusions" from "The Great Milenko".

Re: Your Favorite Song

I have a lot of favorite songs, but my favorite song at the moment would be "Run" by Snow Patrol. It's off their album Final Straw, and it was released sometime in 2004.

My second favorite song at the moment would be "My Favorite Mistake" by Sheryl Crow. It's off her album The Globe Sessions, and it was released in 1998.

Re: Your Favorite Song

I have favourite song for all my moods (and being the moody chick that I am, that's quite a few ). But, since I'm listening to it right now, and it reminds me of a special person in my life, I'd say, Adeazes, "E paia." A beautiful Samoan song about life and faith. Just two guys and their guitars. Heavenly sounding music.

I like "Almost", "Ohio, "Two-Seater" and "1985" by Bowling for Soup. They're my favorite band. Cool songs. Really.

Re: Your Favorite Song

I seem to go through musical cycles of sorts...

Right now, over the past week, I've really been getting into Bad Religion again. So thusly, my favorite song of the moment: Bad Religion - Flat Earth Society.

Re: Your Favorite Song

Right now it would be Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. I went through a phase were I stopped listening to them, and music in general, not sure why. But when I decided to not go out last Saturday I just listened to them for hours. They are definitely in my top five. Wish You Were Here is easily one of the most emotional songs ever released, in my opinion.

Re: Your Favorite Song

Lately, I've been getting hooked on Stevie Wonder. I can't stop listening to Superstition, really jazzy, and right now I think I have a firm basis on which to argue that I am truly addicted to his music, at the moment. Although I Believe is falling in a close second. As is Big Brother.

But like most people here, I switch around between artists. Next thing ya know I'll be listening to Judas Preist and Ray Charles, now isn't that a winning combination?

"Master of Puppets" by Metallica. I'll never get bored of that song. If you like it then download the live version from the S&M concert, or by the S&M CD or DVD. It really is incredible.

Re: Your Favorite Song

So I'm the first one to go geeky, huh?

I'd have to say my favorite song is "Dream of the Shore Bordering Another World" by Yasunori Mitsuda. That would be the song playing for the alternate dimension's overworld in Chrono Cross. Second favorite would have to be the theme for Hildagarde 3 from FFIX, by Nobuo Uematsu.

Now, if we get out of video game music, and you're asking for the music of a band...This is hard...because I never really throw stuff at the top...I always view everything as if I like it or not...Well, since I'm listening to it now, and I like it quite a bit, I'll say "The Kids Aren't Alright" by The Offspring.

Re: Your Favorite Song

Ooh...lemme think.
My favourite songs change every now and then, I will usually be dancing away to something by Rammstein or Megaherz, probaby somethng from the Mutter and Herzwerk eras respectively.

Yesterday, I was watching a fan music video featuring the Chobits anime, and the music ther was 'Toy Soldiers' by martika, who did the song originally, so, that's become one of my favourites too.

Oh! And One in Ten by UB40 - beautiful song!

Re: Your Favorite Song

Video Killed the Radio Star is one of the best songs ever written. I'm also a pretty big fan of National Anthem by Radiohead and Strange and Beautiful by Aqualung. But I guess Video... wins overall.

Re: Your Favorite Song

Just one favourite?!

Well, that would have to be The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony.

Honourable mentions to AC\DC - Highway to Hell; Coldplay - The Scientist/Fix You; and Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode. (And also the Marty McFly version).
