Brand New anyone?

Simple,who likes Brand New? I think they're a great band,maybe under-rated but that's better than seeing their faces all over teenie magazines and being all hardxcore.

Never even heard of a band called Brand New.

They are bascially a rock group.The best thing about them is that they don't over-do their music,so it sounds just right.

Brand New's a cool band....I like they're song Secondary...that's my favorite song by them

I love Brand New, lyrically and musically and almost any other way. I only actually recently got "Deja Entendu", but had listened to it so many times at friends' houses and such that I knew the entire CD except for the track names. I was actually first introduced to them when I was editing my short film for my media class two years ago, and we used to bass-line from Sic Transit Gloria in one of the scenes. Favourite songs are Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades and Okay I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't. I'm so
glad I know the song names now because a lot of them are sorta amusing and interesting.

They're from Long Island. Can't say I've heard of them prior to this, but they look like worth checking out. Seems they've been labeled emo. Should be interesting.

Oh my was it gross...can't remember what the name of the song was though...8thinks hard*

I'll get back to you on that one. Anyway, they're pretty good and should get more recognition than they have. They should be, like, Greenday famous. ^_^

Could be Sic Transit Gloria, which is about a rape of a young man...the lyrics aren't especially gross, but its a strange and disturbing story nonetheless.

Sry. I was assuming it was a Canadian band because everyone who had thought that it was a great band had a Canadian flag below their Avatar. Sorry for misjudging. Hehe :embrsd:

You see what assuming does? It makes you look like the ass you are, ass clown. Though with one who claims they live in the ****ing fictional land of Hyrule, I couldn't expect better I guess. It truely is a sad story when one has so little of a life they have to pretend to live in fictional worlds. It stops being cute when you turn 7.


I've only heard one song, Magazines. The song is really good, but the singers voice makes me laugh for some reason, heh. I'm probably going to steal my sisters Brand New CD's tomorrow to base my idea of the band on more than one song. But if that song is as good as the rest, I'm sure I'll like it.

Yeah, If you MUST listen to emo, its should at least be this band.

Anyway, I adore Brand New. I own Deja Entendu and Your Favorite Weapon, and I wouldn't call them "emo" even though they have emo tendencies. I pretty much love all their songs, but the ones that stand out are: Mixtape, 70 times seven, Magazines, Me vs Maradona vs Elvis, Jaws Theme Swimming, and a few others that I can't remember the track names of.

I'm not a fan. Stuff from Your Favorite Weapon seemed generic and hackeneyed, and the lyrics are too emo for me.
