I almost read Coraline once, just because it's made by Neil Gaiman, but there were so many other books to read. And to be honest, it looked a little kiddy. Not saying it
is kiddy, only that itt looked like it might be.
And Bone, then... It's one of my all-time favourite comics. It starts out as a humorous little story suitable for everybody, but gradually turns into an epic, LotR-esque fantasy saga. It has just the right amounts of humor and suspense, and some purty art. Although the main characters look as if they were drawn by some little kid, everything else looks photo-realistic. I especially liked the facial expressions.
By the by, did you know there's also
a Bone computer game? I haven't played it because the demo doesn't work on my comp, but it could be worth a shot. I don't like the graphics (cel-shading would've been perfect), but those aren't so important anyway.
