Batman VS Spiderman

There was once special comic (it wasnt a serise just 1 special) called 'Batman Spiderman' where they worked together and did not fight.

I think both superheros have two deaths that haunt them more then any others. For Batman its Robin 2/Jason Todd and for Spiderman its Uncle Ben.

Come on!! Are you all really that dense! Batman is just some thug in a costume who knows karate! Spiderman has amazing reflexes, spidersense, webbing that CANNOT BE CUT IF YOUR IN IT!!! There is no way batman could stand a chance!!!!!!!!

Have you read any of our posts? It seems you just have a biased opinion. You clearly haven't read enough about Batman. He is quite a formidable foe. Certainly more than a thug who knows karate. BGS's post basically says it all. Now, if you can counter what we're saying with more than just SpIdEy Iz TeH pWnZ0R!!!111one, we might hear you out.

Okay take this for example:

Batman can only fight at night, as it provides cover for him. He took out 5 thugs, but thats because he hides in shadow and strikes.

This would not work on spiderman, as he can sense his approach and easily outmanuever him. Also it would depend on the location as well.

Thats why spidey would win, spiderman can take out 5 thugs in broad daylight, batman has to hide and strike, though this is a clever tactic, it will not always succeed.

Is that good enough?

Who says Batman could only succeed at night? Five thugs are five thugs no matter how you look at it. There have been plenty of times when he's been right out in the open and beaten the crap out of all those around him. Do the words "martial arts master" mean anything to you?

Bruce Wayne is stronger at night? o-O

Reagrdless, Batman has the experience and ability under his belt. Peter Parker just has his powers by chance-- he was pretty much a physically inept nerd if you don't remember. So, I'm pretty sure much of it is derived from instinct, but Batman not only has that from years of training, but essentially just that-- experience. Consider the gadgets too and karate, my friend, is a powerful weapon.

I have to say Spider man. Batman only has special gadgets, and no real superpowers.

Im not trying to say batman sucks! Im trying to say that a normal martial arts master cannot beat something with power beyond his! True, wisdom and knowledge will beat brawn, but not always! There will be a time where even your brains cannot save you, like if your surrounded by 7 guys, you cannot think them away, you have to use your brawn! Also spiderman is pretty quick witted as well!

If you watch spiderman 1, you will se how flash attempts to hit peter, but fails, as he moves much slower, and peter could sense him. In this case spiderman would win.

But like I said, it would depend on the situation they were in, if they were just going fist to fist, spiderman would cream batman, and if they were striking while hiding or something, batman may stand a chance.

Im sticking with my vote for spider man, you can call me stubborn, or hard headed, but I dont believe batman would win!

Alright, let's try it like this. Do you deny that Superman is more powerful than Spider-Man? If not, that's good. Now, if Batman could beat Superman, how could Spider-Man stand a chance? Batman is not your average brute, like Flash. He's more intelligent than Spider-Man, is a more skilled fighter than Spider-Man, and has more experience than Spider-Man. Spider-Man may be stronger and (possibly) faster, but Batman still has the advantage.

Spiderman is not stronger then superman. and batman is not stronger then spiderman, the only reason batman beat superman is because he used kryptonite, and spider has no weakness like that.

Its like this, water beats fire, fire beats grass, and grass beats water. your elements,one will cancel out the other.

Also spiderman COULD beat superman IF he used kryptonite. But not going hand to hand.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Batman has beaten Superman without necessarily using kryptonite. Intelligence, my friend .

Batman cannot stand a chance against superman, unless he has kryptonite, dont you watch the justice league? Remember when superman turned bad and all the league tryed to stop him physically, but could not. Kryptonite is the only way.

What the? That first paragraph made no sense whatsoever.

How many times does this have to be repeated? Superman still can be hurt physically EVEN when there is NO kryptonite around. Also, like said earlier, INTELLIGENCE works, and though it's not like Superman is a knucklehead, but Batman is a bit more intellectual. Kryptonite weakens Superman sure, but does it kill him completely by itself? No, a final blow, or blows have to be executed...I believe.

And the cartoons mean squat. The comics are canon. I'm not talking about intelligence in the geeky sense, I'm talking about REAL intelligence. Like the type you get from wisdom and experience. Batman is a genius. That's really all there is to it.

Because arguing will not change the opinion others, also if you watch smallville, kryptonite will kill superman, if he is exposed to it for to long.

In conclusion, I would like to say that batman cannot beat every single hero in the world! If you say batman can beat the hulk, then your on drugs! Because the day batman beats the hulk is th day the world ends!

And why are you arguing? You bring up half-baked points as to why Superman/Spider-Man cannot be beaten by Batman. And he said THE CARTOONS, not both, so read more carefully next time. No one said he can beat every single hero in the world, so get over it.
