Full Metal Alchemist

Has anyone seen or heard of Full Metal Alchemist? I have and I am sure many other people have also seen it. You know, it seems weird that there was a large hype over Full Metal Alchemist when it first came out but now it seems that it lowered down for some reason. And I thought that the episode where General Huyes dies was very sad. What do you think?

If there is a thread about this then it's probably really old, but I do agree that Huyes put up a good fight with those humunculi.

I like this show too, although I haven't seen it in a while. Eh...I forgot is General Huyes the big buff guy that does all those flashy moves?

No, he is the guy who talks about his daughter all of the time, and he wears glasses.

Meh. Not bad, although I've seen better. I'm more fond of Ghost in the Shell; it has a significant lack of lame anime` jokes. I swear to God, it's the only anime` show in existence that actually takes itself seriously.

On another note entirely, American anime` must die!!!

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

Yeah actually, I have noticed that they haven't been releasing FMA for a while, what's up with that? Thats also probably one of the reasons I haven't seen it in a while.

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

FMA's awesome. If you can, get the fansub, but the dub's ok. They didn't get Ed's, Hugh's or Roy's right, but everyone elses voice is very similar. 8 out of 10

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

FullMetal Alchemist rocks. Right now, It's my favorite anime. I love the way it can go from funny to dramatic and back again at the drop of a hat, and doesn't seem wierd when it's doing it. The characters are also great. Ed's funny when he over-reacts, and Al acts so cute! I'm looking forward to Adult Swim airing the rest of the episodes, but I'm also collecting the DVDs as they're released.

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

OH! Yes!~ I love it! ^_^ The one where Huyes dies is so sad! Itg's also my favorite, however, because I've seen it a couple of times. Like, every time I put it on, it's that episode...^_^

GITS is awesome, but if you like that serious stuff, you should watch Gungrave. It's an awesome show, and it's awsomely serious and realistic. ^_^

Sorry to get off topic...

Re: Full Metal Alchemist

Full Metal Alchemist is indeed quite a deep and amazing anime of sorts. I watched the whole series already, subs always being much better than dubs, and also I started watching it before anyone even knew it existed (or anyone american at least) it grew in popularity amazingly fast though. The characters are extremely well thought-out ^_^ and I love Hughes (he never died T_T that can't be true noooooo).

I quite like Roy Mustang too *points at sig that was made by self* and of course Ed is somewhat of a genious, it's surprising how much emotion Al can have being a suit of armor o.O

Anyway, right now I'm pleasantly awaiting the release of the Full Metal Alchemist Movie, hopefully it'll answer many questions left unaswered in the anime's ending. *crosses fingers*

Hasta Luego

It's what Adult Swim does. Remember Kenshin? It has about 94 or 95 episodes, but they never showed them. So I think they are doing the same thing to FMA. Unless like me, you want to buy the series, which I got it for a dollar on eBay and watched all 51 episodes. From episode 40 to the end, you really get what is actually going on with the Homonculi and such.

And the movie was released in Japan on the 23rd, and I am desparately looking for it. Yeah, FMA is one of the greatest anime I have seen so far.
