[Animé] The "Anime Before, Present, and After" Game

Okay, technically, this is a game, but it's actually fairly anime specific, so I don't know where else to put it, or if this is an entirely silly idea that will get me lined up against a wall and stoned to death by the denizens of the Entertainment forum. x_x

This "game", really, is to mock the transition of anime trends as it progresses through the ages, then jokingly suggest what the logical conclusion for such trends are. For example:

10 Years Ago in Anime: All girls are magnificent cooks, and there will always be an excellent bento waiting for the protagonist at the end of the day.
5 Years Ago in Anime: There will be that one girl who's a great cook, which will incur the jealousy or insecurity of other girls, who will then try to prove their feminity by trying to cook, usually with disastrous results save that one time where their hard work finally pays off and they make one edible bento for the protagonist.
Presently: Be happy that NBC warfare teams in HAZMAT suits aren't showing up at your school every time a girl tries to make a bento.
5 Years Later in Anime: Girls entering kitchens are offenses punishable by death.

Another example~

10 Years Ago in Anime: REAL MEN DON'T COOK
5 Years Ago in Anime: Someone seems to have remembered that the majority of the chefs in the world seem to be male, and they get girls to swoon at their culinary.
Presently: Most guys are not only supreme chefs, but also are OCD enough to demand utter cleanliness that make them wonderful at housework. They're also apparently wonderful at massages.
5 Years Later in Anime: Because no one else can fill those roles, men have only one job available to them: Butlers.

Please note that these are obviously not meant to be universal examples; Lethal Chefs have existed in anime long ago. This is merely poking fun at ongoing trends, seeing how an increasing ratio of anime feature girls who are absolutely horrendous at cooking. Similarly, the "5 years" and "10 years" categories are entirely arbitrary - I just needed to show the progression of the trends rather than work out a detailed timeline - so don't worry about being chronologically accurate. ^_^;

So, feel free to list your own examples~ I'll kick off with one more:

10 Years Ago in Anime: Guys don't have anything to complain about when they receive a bento from a bashful girl.
5 Years Ago in Anime: Most bentos from girls taste awful, but the guys have to smile and bear with it lest the girl cries, throws a bento box at his head at supersonic speeds, then run off crying.
Presently: Men regularly enter comas via bentos from bashful girls.
5 Years Later in Anime: Men no longer have taste buds, and their digestive system is better compared to an incinerator. Or, alternatively, men are now extinct.

...I feel like such a dork already... XD
