Right now it's this one, done by the Norwegian band Kaizers Orchestra.
One of my favorite bands. They have such a unique sound that can't really be compared to anyone else.. at least not that I've found.

Hard to pick a favorite song by them, but this one is in my head now.

Where's that Not Bad, Obama picture when you need it.
I like it. I'll be checking more of their songs out later.

Here's some more music that AutumnMuse showed me.

Re: Favorite Song

I'm not sure exactly what Two Steps From Hell is from, or what it is. But it's got some pretty darn good music.

My favorite,

Re: Favorite Song

It'd be way too much to choose a favorite song ever. Especially at 2 am.

My favorite song ever since mid-June has been "I fink U Freeky" by Die Antwoord. Totally good for shooting an individual to and ending their life. During the build-up during Ninja's rap is the highlight.

Re: Favorite Song

I have a several favourite songs. But I can share 2 of the songs that suits me most. Both are gothic/melodic metal.

Tarja Turunen - Anteroom of death.

Evanescence - Together again.

Re: Favorite Song

At the moment I cannot stop listening to this cover of Mammia Mia. I guess I really am quite into ABBA. Must come from my mother. I also just like how the vocalist sounds there. I know many another song from her, and I must say I prefer this over her more high pitched stuff from the old days.

Also currently got Victim of Love by David Essex stuck in my head. I am a sucker for anything from Maurizio De Jorio, and something about this slower style with his voice just really sticks out to me. Nice change of pace I guess, even though this is actually one of his first songs.

Re: Favorite Song

I can't pick a favourite, so I'll share one I like.

I could literally listen to this if they made it go for a couple of hours. I wish it did keep going.

Re: Favorite Song

I have to choose 'The Masterplan' by Oasis. This has been my favourite song for years, it gives me butterflies every time I hear it. I love Oasis but I prefer Noel's vocals to Liam's, I find Liam to whiny. ANYHOW, here's the song.

Wait for the song to kick in a bit, don't prejudge it because it's Oasis.

Re: Favorite Song

I have many favourite songs and they vary with my mood.
Overture by Patrick Wolf is one of my most frequent favourites. Patrick is releasing a new album in October, and it will mark his ten year anniversary as an artist. The songs will be acoustic remakes of his prettiest songs. This is the remake of Overture. I get chills down my spine and I sob a bit and smile like a fool.

If anybody cares to hear the original, here it is
Spoiler:

But I talk so much about Patrick Wolf, I should dilute it with a bit of something else. These three songs get stuck in my brain and then I listen to them a hundred times - NOTHING ELSE for a week or so. I get obsessed quite easily.
Cold Days from the Birdhouse, by The Twilight Sad
Jigsaw Falling Into Place, by Radiohead
Mykonos, by Fleet Foxes

Re: Favorite Song

Right now it's probably Between Friends by Flying Lotus ft Earl and Captain Murphy.

The jazzy feel is FlyLo at his best, and Earl is really coming into his own as a rapper (and he sounds great moving away from the killing and raping hookers stuff from his debut mixtape)

Re: Favorite Song

I always find it hard to answer these questions, because my mind always goes blank. But just off the top of my head my top three songs would be Bad Apple by Miku Gumi, my immortal by Evanescence, and Far From Home by Five Finger Death Punch. I like these songs because they mean alot to me and sound good too.
