[Movie] Wes Anderson flicks?

After recently seeing Moonrise Kingdom, I got to wondering if there were any fans of movies by director Wes Anderson on ZU. Favorites, least favorites, or pretty much any thoughts on the director himself, his films, or recurring cast.

Personally my favorite has to be the most recent, aforementioned Moonrise Kingdom. I felt that this is his best one due to the fact that he explores adolescent love instead of the dysfunctional relationships of jaded, yet quirky adults. The two leads were also surprisingly great, which is saying something coming from a guy who detests child actors. Moonrise also goes into the regret of old age and the sacrifices some parents have to make just to keep families together. All in all, the film was amazing and just made me long for days when love was as simple as saying "I like you" to that one special girl (or guy).

I haven't seen any of his movies except The Darjeeling Limited, which was a good movie to be sure. Very strange, but good nonetheless. I actually don't remember anything about it except that it was good, though, haha.

Rushmore is my favorite of his. The Darjeeling Limited sucked.

The Royal Tenenbaums, full stop. I adore that movie. Life Aquatic was kinda awesome too. Sadly i really havent seen his other works. Id like to though.

I dislike The Royal Tenenbaums less than the people who love The Royal Tenenbaums.

I really liked Moonrise Kingdom, but I have to admit it is basically Wes Anderson doing Wes Anderson. It's a culmination of all his themes and stylistic devices and whatnot, kind of cobbled together into something that is really fun and entertaining, but at this point doesn't exactly wow the same way some of his other works have.

I do really like The Royal Tenenbaums as well. The Life Aquatic was ok, but was a bit meandering and slow for my tastes.

The one movie of his I haven't seen yet but I really want to is Fantastic Mr. Fox.
