Silhouettes by Avicii is definitely my favorite, uhm, EDM track out there. Ughh, I love it so much.
Moreover, I adore how EDM influences avant-indie music:
This is kind of a fun track, but the way Blood Diamonds uses Grimes' vocals to imitate the famed build-up and drop in EDM tracks is just fantastic.
I also like the way these producers pair up with potent pop-stars, like Calvin Harris+Rihanna for "We Found Love" and "Where Have You Been".
It's a very weird genre; at first, it looks as broad as it self-aggrandizing and, honestly, very cheesy. But the frisson it brings to the brain is hardcore great --specially on the dancefloor @.@
