Well, just post songs that get you emotional for one way or another.



I was listening to the lyrics to this one and it just tells a sad story.




I honestly have no clue why, but this one get me every time...

I have these three on my iPod. I don't normally listen to sad songs, but when I am in a solemn state of mind, or just want to listen to these kind of songs, I will throw them on from time to time.

Quite a long list, and that's not even the whole thing. I took out the ones that aren't necessarily sad songs, but that make me feel better.

"No sound but the wind" from the Editors, but only the Rock Werchter 2010 Live edition. I've also heard the Studio version of the song, but in this version it is performed with so much more emotion.

I was also there when it was recorded(you can even see mee in the vid )

This song is about the book/film "The Road", which goes about a dying father and his son trying to survive in a death world. But mainly the way it is performed makes the song so touching.

Also "That look you give that guy" from Eels has an effect on me. Mainly because like a lot of people, I also have had some moments liking a girl who's in love with another.

Anyway Lua, by Bright Eyes is really sad.
For some reason though, sad songs make me really happy?
I like it when lyrics are convincingly clever and yet, despondent. Bright Eyes is such a melancholy group, yet I just seem to love the just how well written the sadness is.

It goes on repeat when I'm sad because it makes me saaaaaaaad. It also goes on when I just want to feel sad, for whatever reason.
