I thought it was kinda weird that the Tenchi Muyo episode was from OVA, which I thought came out after Toonami was cancelled. I wonder why they could not get one of the older episodes to play tonight.

You spelled Gundam wrong. This is unforgivable.

EDIT: And there's no "s" in Gundam Wing.

It's kind of a shame Cartoon Network never showed Yu Yu Hausho to the end years ago. I thought it was a good series even though Funimation fundamentally changed a few too many aspects of the series that never should have been changed. Thinking about it they would have to find some way to have the Makai actually be the Makai for that last season.

For those of you who missed it they showed the Original ending of the Gohan and Cell. No Kai edits and with all the filler.

I think they showed the end of the show at like 4 or 5 in the morning a few years ago, why most people missed it.

I was excited by it, and was happy that it might be back for good.

Then I saw the date....

We don't even have Cartoon Network in Canada. Wish we did.

You got DBZ, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and Gundam Wing. We only got the first two of those that showed on Toonami last night. Though I do own the next three series I listed on DVD, most of my friends have never heard of them. I had to show those to them in Anime Club and now they love them!

EDIT: We actually did get Gundam Wing over here. I just forgot.

Finally, a reason for me to actually like Cartoon Network again! About damn time too; I hate these new senseless cartoons they're doing.

So I went to their feedback page, went to programming, and lo and behold THERE IS A TOONAMI CATEGORY. They may actually be serious.



And while it's unlikely that they'd bring the block back, let's discuss this for fun: what kind of shows could they put on there? I know that we'd like some of the old school stuff, but what about new shows?
