It is amazing how many of the voice actors have come from previous hit shows, but then again, considering the people who hired them and their own portfolios...

Ponies is just the perfect storm of talent, effort and experience. If it weren't for Lauren and Jason (not our Jason; he's lazy ;P) and Daniel and the HUNDREDS of other talented and awesome animators, writers, story boarders and the Hasbro people who gave them essentially a ticket to do what they want.

If it weren't for that perfect storm, hundreds of people would still be depressed and this thread would not exist and some members might not still be here.

New episode was cute.
Gustave is awesome. I loved his "Dastardly Whiplash" bit when Pinkie was "telling" his side. Pony/Donut Joe with his Bond business, and Muleiah with her ninja thing.

I liked it.

The references were awesome, as always, the ending was pretty predictable, but getting there was really fun, though I was sure that Applejack would have eaten at least a bit of the cake, she was the one that seemed the most MY FACE CONTAINS HUNGER when describing the MMMM.

After seeing how hard it was for Big Mac to carry the cake, I think we can safely say that cakes are heavier than houses in Ponyville.

Also, Gustav is new best pony.

I don't care about his lack of ponyism.

For the last three episodes, including this one, I've had an interruption while watching them for the first time.

This was a good episode. Its ending was nice and I wouldn't have predicted it. The references to Sherlock Holmes, James Bond, and other things were awesome and blended well with the episode. There were a few odd animations that I looked back on, like Gustav's eyes bulging out, Twilight Sparkle's Watson cap jumping up randomly, and Rarity's mane covering her right eye (but that was explained). I like how this episode connected with the last one with how Princess Celestia has a sweet tooth (as shown at the end).

Not the best episode, but certainly a good one. Had me laughing many times.

Loved the new episode! Refrences were sweet.

I love the way that Dashie is the element of loyalty yet was the first pony to go to the carrage!
And the first person to eat her friends' familys' hard work.

This episode was pretty cool and hilarious. Pinkie Pie's accusation scenes of the bakers made me LMAO, (especially Joe's) and that scene at the end where Pinkie devours the whole cake is pretty cute. The lesson kind of sucked, though; what the heck does it have to do with friendship? Anyway, probably in my Top 5 for Best Episodes in Season 2.

(With Read it and Weep taking top spot, of course)

I laughed when Celestia was about to take a bite at the cake, but then out of nowhere Pinkie ate it all.
