It's far too long. Either you learn to get into fan works and read fanfiction and stuff like that, or you burn out and go into pony recession where you may, or may not get back in come Season 3.

I recommend picking up fanfic reading. If you want the best, look for [legendary] tags. Fallout Equestria is of course my reccomendation. Amazing read.

I cluelessly started watching ponies like, less than a month after the first season ended.

I wanted to die when I realized there was no more.

At least now I'm prepared for it.

This will be my first time going months without any new episodes, since becoming a fan at around the time when the eleventh episode of the second season aired.

I've got a good 20 chapters left in Fallout: Equestria and an entire PDF library of Ponyfics. I have multiple original projects in the works as well. I'm prepared for this pony withdrawal.

one suggestion, if I may: I always picture Farore as a goddess of the earth, and Din as a goddess of the sky, so I would have made Din a pegasus and Farore an earth pony.

Also, the wedding episodes are on MY BIRTHDAY! pretty good present if you ask me.

Farore though is wind.

Well I see Din more of an Earth Pony because Din is commonly related to the Earth, (Gorons, Volcanos, etc).
And Farore is more like windish. (Koroks, Wind related items/temples).

And Nayru is more like the magical.
Also because Unicorns are best ponies.

Fact: If you count the sidestories, Fallout Equestria can single-handedly cover an entire in-between seasons period easily.

I'm at chapter 26 and holding on to reading it too much until the withdrawal period, so it's not like I'll be short in content at the very least.

I'm going to be fine with the ♥♥♥♥ amount of work imma do and all.

Legendary tags are used for the "top-of-the-line/must-read" fics in Equestria Daily.

Fallout Equestria has a prologue, 45 regular chapters and an epilogue. It's pretty darn long but that's also the same reason why it's perfect to get your pony fix in between seasons if you like it (you read it by bits, and it lasts an eternity).

Reminds me, I haven't been to check her Twitter for a few days.
