Pretty epic video Very well made.

I kind of agree with Florina on this, but I also agree with Hoopy on the most part. I definately know some bronies who are the "get in your face and don't shut up about it" kind (Soarin' knows who I'm talking about), but I also know most of the fandom isn't really that all up in your face about it. I really don't talk about the show much outside of you guys and bronies I know in real life, and I don't really feel like I need to spew love and friendship everywhere.

That said, I do admit most fandoms have their problems, and if someone were to say I was being pushy I would try to stop.

I think I was kinda in your face at first, but then I mellowed out a bit.

I suppose some people are prone to do it (I don't notice it here on ZU, but maybe I don't look hard enough). Sometimes I wonder if people just feel like it's shoved in their faces because it is, in all fairness, all over the ♥♥♥♥ing internet. The fandom hit hard and it hit fast, and I can see where people would feel like it's all up in their grill.

I think the reason I feel a little bit... protective of this fandom is the majority of it is just people who are following an ethos of "love and tolerance" and are, generally, great people to each other which is a goddamn internet phenomenon as far as I'm concerned. It's a nice, open community full of people who don't treat each other like ♥♥♥♥. I can kinda get behind that, ya know?

In the short time I've been part of this fandom I've never been pushy, only once and that was more for the sake of trolling this guy who actually mentions more his hatred for the show than me talking about it to him (pretty much never, if he doesn't like it, whatever). But I already mentioned that in the last thread.

Nutjobs are on every fandom, problem is the ones we have get more attention for obvious reasons.

Yeah, I am friends with a hardcore anime nut, but she's not all that bad unless you catch her in a chatty mood with caffeine.

Actually anime cons aren't that bad. I mean I like anime a lot, and I know a lot that people don't know (its like I'm a hipster or something) but its only once you run into what is coined as "weeboos" that you want to stay clear of. Unfortunately, there is a lot more hardcore insane anime fans who rag on you for not liking a certain anime, which is true.

But to get this post relevant to the topic at hand:



I feel thats how most bronies are when it comes to non bronies who are dissing MLP: FIM. I mean if somebody disses something without even giving it a chance bugs the hell out of me.

Nobody IRL knows about me because 1) it's frankly none of their business unless the topic comes up in conversation and 2) I have no one to really talk to outside my family and relatives. =/

New thread, eh? Nice. Old one was getting large and slightly laggy, but that may have been the site in general.

Anyway, I agree with the above points. There are some loud people in this fandom, and I wish as much as the haters do that they would shut up. Most of us aren't really that pushy about it, and would rather just kick back and enjoy our thing and let the other people do what they want.

The Pizza Hut one kind of scares me.

The McDonald's one, it wasn't much of what he was doing that made me feel uncomfortable, more so how he was talking. Including doing the voices. The comments kind of sickened me as well.
