But, you gotta agree with Apple Jack..
The plotline was a little... stale... I mean, "I must find out myself -> My kind are dicks, and I don't fit in -> I fit in! Must do bad thing -> don't do it -> Bad guys.. something"
Bit overused, and Twi was a bit cut out-y..
Not gonna lie, when I was a kid I saw the exact same plot, with the exact same species I might add on another cartoon, the only difference being that at the end the wimpy dragon ended up kicking every other dragon's ass, and that this one was executed better at least from what I can remember.
How many times must that picture be posted until we had enough? And that's a G3 suit which makes it even worse...
{SPOILER]This episode lacks a lot of logic(c'mon, Rainbow is the fastest flyer in Equestria, can't she fly faster that a couple of teenage dragons while carrying 2 ponies + a dragon?)[/SPOILER]
Last time she did that, she was in the open sky, and it took her a Sonic Rainbow to do so.
Why, the Ask Gummy thread in General Chat, of course.
It's G3?
Well, I'm just gonna have to take your word, no way am I looking at that again.
RD's cutie mark in G3 is a Rainbow between 2 clouds, which is what we see in that abomination. G4's is a mix of that and G1 Firefly's which was a couple of lighting bolts, in fact, RD was Firefly on the original pitch, but had to be changed due to copyright issues.
Last time she did that, she was in the open sky, and it took her a Sonic Rainbow to do so.
Okay, I lied. I copypasted that from ponychan and didn't notice those two complaints. I'm thinking because it was a Merriweather episode, people EXPECT Rainbow Dash to be shown in a more negative, jerkish light than with other writers.
Hated the cold open, the potential for any world building on the dragons is tossed aside for a cheap "don't go with the bad influence plot", and it had a weak climax.
RD was shat on AGAIN
Rarity was too dramatic(Spikey-
Wikey, almost every single line)
Twilight felt like a boring cardboard cut-out the entire episode
This episode lacks a lot of logic(c'mon, Rainbow is the fastest flyer in Equestria, can't she fly faster that a couple of teenage dragons while carrying 2 ponies + a dragon?)
World-building opportunity broken
Some parts made me laugh. I'm just not a fan of the way Meriweather writes plots or characters.
I'd have to admit; other than the part with assertive Fluttershy, the first part of the episode lacked a little quality, but after Spike left Ponyville, the episode became enjoyable for me, especially when Crackle was introduced. looool This was pretty much me:
I also liked the moral at the end because it connected with me a little bit and because of what I said earlier about how it, and the entire episode, had some connection to bronies and anti-bronies. Sure, the episode had a cliche plot line, but it could've been worse. I think The Mysterious Mare Do Well was less good than this episode.

This was why I think The Mysterious Mare Do Well was one of the worst episodes in the series. It wasn't bad, but Rainbow Dash seemed like a bigger dick than usual. She usually thinks she's all that (for a lack of better words, since I'm having a brainfart right now), but in that episode, she just seemed pretentious.

Gummy, I'd hate to act like a rent-a-mod, but small talk like that—asking what "Sturs" is short for—is a little off-topic. Next time, please ask a question like that through VMs.
I'd love to have this plushy :
Golden Harvest/Carrot Top is turning into my favorite background pony.
What episode was she in, being a background pony?
I don't believe I've seen her.
I'm quite a bit of a small talk guy, but I'll stop it if it's annoying you Axis
Well, it's just that real mods may frown upon small talk like that. Personally, I don't care about small talk. In fact, small talk reminds me of the old forum I was on, where small talk was permitted in every thread.
Here's an example of Golden Harvest:
I'd like to change my username to Golden Harvest, but another part of me likes the individuality of my current username.
