Star Wars - Visual Storytelling: An In-Depth Analysis

Just a quick note: this has nothing to do with the other Star Wars thread and I would request that it would stay open and not merge, as that is about how Star Wars sucks, and this is about visual parallels throughout the series.

I posted this before on another forum and I have a ton more; I made these ones before I even saw Episode III, so no Episode III included. But I think it's really cool all the visual parallels throughout the series and thought I'd share some. The last two parallels are my favorites; Fathers and Sons, and It Ends as it Begun.

Re: Star Wars - Visual Storytelling: An In-Depth Analysis

I'm sure that when they were doing the storyboards for 1, 2, and 3, they were very careful about picking out scenes to visually quote ---- but if you watch them in story-chronological order, it's almost like foreshadowing rather than quoting.

Ah, but the thread title is misleading; I thought you had written an in-depth analysis.

Sorry, I was going to write about each one but I got tired. I'll edit the post later and actually do my analysis, just finding all those pics in the old thread on the board I used to post on was hard enough lol.
