In Western developed projects like Mass Effect and SRT, she has more emotion and does not have this "anime accent/tone" thing. XD It's just me though.

I have. I followed the manga before the anime came out to and still do.
It's okay but still has a pretty stereotypical shonen feel. I must say, the anime's final battle was pretty sweet though. Gave me chills watching it.

To anyone who has seen it, what's your overall opinion on AnoHana?
In my opinion, it's a beautiful anime, and I love the character development. I also like the ED (Secret Base)

Re: Animé/Manga Chit-Chat I: Movies are the new seasons.

So, animes that I am actively viewing are DB/DBZ (I switch between the two when I feel like it) and Naruto: Shippuden. Yes, I know, I don't watch obscure titles and am therefore are a sheep in the herd. Regardless, DBZ has been a huge part of my childhood, and I forgot how truly epic it feels sometimes. I still can't pinpoint what I like about it. The closest I can come is that it feels like such a comprohensive story, with an almost mythological feel. All of the characters vividly stand out in my head, as I can remember playing with the action figures with my friends all the time. It was truly an invaluable bit of my childhood.

And on Shippuden, I really like how the story is going. Aside from fillers, which I never enjoy, I'm happy with the pacing. I won't spoil anything, but right now it feels like the story is approaching a large turning point in the form of some truly epic battles. It feels like this could be the end, but then you have to remember all of the other loose ends that haven't been addressed yet. There's more to come, though it may end soon. And that's okay.

The ♥♥♥♥ you talking about? DB/DBZ is awesome. Can't say the same about Shippuden. I just read the manga.

I cut too much. That was focused more on the "sheep in the herd" bit.

Nothing wrong with watching popular ♥♥♥♥ if it's good ♥♥♥♥.

I really really enjoyed Case Closed. I wish they still dubbed it in English but there wasn't enough fan base. It's a great show. I have seen all of the dubbed episodes and the movies. Does anyone watch or has watched it?

I used to watch it, but I think it's definitely at the point where it should just end. There are what, like 74 volumes out in Japan right now? I like the show, don't get me wrong. I just wish he'd go back to work on Magic Kaito a little. I own all 4 volumes of that, and it's really good.

Re: Animé/Manga Chit-Chat I: Movies are the new seasons.

Watched Elfen Lied not too long ago. Certainly interesting though I haven't come to an exact conclusion on whether I really liked it or just found it different. Almost finished Digimon Tamers cuz Luna said so <.< and will probably just go watch whatever she suggests next.

I kinda want to watch Strawberry Panic again...and I'm not sure why.

Does anyone here thinks that Naruto is becoming boring lately..?
No offense to Naruto fans but I really think they should focus more on Naruto's battles..
I just noticed it that they just keep on making flash backs.. >.<
But still, I love Naruto no matter what..

Anyone here read on the latest Fairy Tail where Natsu tries to challenge a guild master..? xD

Well i'd say Naruto started getting boring again after all that stuff with his mom, which i actually found somewhat interesting. But i feel its been boring for awhile. And i am liking the current fight that is happening, its kinda changing how i think of Sasuke, maybe he isn't as bad i originally thought.

Fairy Tail is awesome, we really saw how mature Natsu can be, he knew when he couldn't win and left, but not without saying something that made the members of the other guild think. I'm actually and at the same time i'm not that he was fighting on equal ground with the guild leader of Sabertooth and he can still use the lighting fire moves.

If you're watching Naruto, you're doing it wrong.

You're only doing it right if you are reading the Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth manga.

Haha, yes. Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth is so epic. Found it completely by accident on MS, and loved it ever since. Haven't had a chance to find it for over a month though.

I do have to say that I don't watch much anime anymore. I find much more passion and soul in the manga. Which I suppose is no great shock considering my ambitions of entering the field myself.

On a final note, subs beat dubs for me.

The first half is good, makes you think it's the next big thing after DBZ. But then, it becomes boring and I don't know what the author is thinking by starting a yaoi and destroying the concept of what they are. Seriously, sometimes it makes me say "Are these characters still ninjas?" Just my opinion though.

Am I the only one who thinks Fairytail is a rip-off of One Piece? Some of the scenes and characters are very One Piece-esque. Like for example, in Fairytail, there's a Luffy clone, Flamingo clone, Kuma clone, Franky clone, and even the scene with Vivi saying goodbye has a clone.
