Don't get me wrong I love the Rolling Stones, but The Beatles get my vote hands down.
I can easily say The Beatles are my number one favorite band and always have been since I was a little girl. Their music is so inspiring and beautiful. And the musical transformation they underwent over the years they were active was something I think is very special - from sort of that 1950's sound to psychedelic, to a category of music I can't really clearly define in the Abbey Road/White Album/Let it Be era (I have a hard time categorizing the genre of that part of their career because the songs are so diverse).
And considering that each of the Beatles continued to create beautiful music after the band split really tells something about their individual talent in my eyes.
I also love the Yellow Submarine movie! I can't even begin to count how many times I've watched it as a kid. ^__^

To be perfectly honest, im going to have to go with the Beatles. They generally have more songs i enjoy. I never was a fan of Mr. Jagger's voice. I just could never get into the Rolling Stones. Im not the largest Beatles fan in the world either but if i had to choose between the two, it would be them.
I like both, but I love The Beatles. They are very much so overrated and credited as "the best band ever", and even though I like them, I have to disagree. I like a group of select songs by the Stones, but I love so many of The Beatles' songs.
