Steins;Gate.

And good god, that probably rocketed up to being one of my favourite animes. Watched it in two nights and it was so fun discussing where we thought it was going with my brother. So gloriously...not convoluted as I didn't find it terribly hard to follow, but more convoluted than most, I suppose.

Not the mind-reading? Not the society where people work just so they can have stress? Not the railway workers? Not the library?

Not fairytales in the sense of actual mystical beings, no, but still fantastical events and situations, often with morals attached.

Re: What was the last anime you saw?

I'm still just watching Eureka Seven AO, and so far I'm not disappointed. Always leaves me wanting more.

I also plan to finish Trigun sometime, cuz I bought the DVD boxset at a convention in May along with WQitch Hunter Robin.

Re: What was the last anime you saw?

Tried to watch more Bleach last night, but the only good that did was remembering where I last left off with the old man. (Got rapidly tired and just left it at that)

Also watched a bit of Ghost in the Shell a few nights ago.

Up until a few weeks ago, I was watching Megaman NT Warrior. Got bored of it, though.

Yup, I wouldn't want to involve myself with any of them. They all have their own flaws.

That's true though. :p

Re: What was the last anime you saw?

If it counts for anything, I watched certain clips from CLANNAD last night for entertainment. First video was a cute little Tomoyo vs. Sunohara video (dubbed), and the second was of Tomoya's pranks (subbed).

Couldn't get enough.

I hope you've watched the entire show at some point...its a great one, my personal favorite...I could never get used to the dub voices though.

I like this show so much, I bought DVD's for the entire series (Afterstory as well) and am refusing to open them/remove them from the plastic...also I have this:

Re: What was the last anime you saw?

I'm about 9 episodes into the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. (in the chronological order, not the aired order.)
I really love it, it's such a great anime.

As confusing as the airing order is, the experience of watching it in that order is closer to the experience you would get reading the light novel series. The books were published in a kind of achronological format...which is to say, events are kind of all over the place. Tanigawa simply inserts events into the timeline as he pleases, to go along with the chaotic theme of the stories. it's all narrated from Kyon's point of view, so its like Kyon is tell you stories as he remembers them, rather than in any particular order.

Re: What was the last anime you saw?

I've been recently rewatching Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
The newest anime I've seen is Canaan. It's a really good anime.

Rosario+Vampire. But I feel like I should rewatch Rurouni Kenshin. Kenshin is a total badass.
