Music Chit-Chat Thread Track 02: Midnight City!

First time posting in here.

I always love it when I get a new CD with music that I've probably never heard. It's like opening presents or tasting many different types of chocolate.

Maybe I'm kind of lame for mostly listening to older music, but I feel glad that I've finally collected the entire collection of pre-death Jimi Hendrix albums onto my computer. That guy was the second coming of Christ or something.

New Childish Gambino has been on NPR for a week, apparently.

There was a time where the aesthetic and general nature of metal was distasteful to me (lol simplification of my ridiculous immaturity).


That time is no more. I'm just absolutely in love with stuff like The Faceless, Gorgoroth, Veil of Maya, Periphery, and Nile. Also I recognize that those bands are incredibly different from each other. Don't take it as a collapsing into one genre.
