I've kind of been doing this thing over in the music thread on the MSPA forums

Very, very, very well done.

There were several that you missed:

- Trollcops and its variation are both sort of remixes of Under the Hat, a fanpiece by Jit written about Dad.

- Nightmare includes parts of Carpacian Dominion

- As the name suggests, Ruins Rising is a re-orchestration of Ruins.

- Gamebro could include parts of Upward Movement. Nobody's really sure.

- Scourge Sisters works in Spider's Claw and The Lemonsnout Turnabout.

- How Do I Live (D8 Night) of course uses parts of How Do I Live.

- Flare is more than slightly inspired by Three in the Morning.

- Cascade uses Flare, Black Hole/Green Sun, and Cascade (Beta), but I suppose that's obvious.

- Do You Remem8er Me is very heavily influenced by We Walk.

I don't really see We Walk in DYRM
(also in his commentary on his tracks on Volume 8, DragonXVI (Malcolm Brown) didn't say anything about We Walk and he probably would have were it in there)

I can see how there are the arpeggios in Flare and 3ITM. I brought that up in the thread one time and Plazmataz said the resemblance was just in passing.

I... chose not to note stuff from outside of Homestuck. That means I'm also ignoring I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, the other remix of HDIL, IaMotMC Acapella, The Blind Prophet, Nakkadile, and probably some other stuff.

Cascade... yeah.
That shouldn't really count as being a remix but I'll put those in anyway, in addition to SotDD, Doctor, and Penumbra Phantasm.

I was intending to insert Under the Hat once I got the Gaiden albums in there.

I never listened all the way through The Wanderers (or Medium) so that's probably why Nightmare isn't on there

I'm not sure if it is or not. I've asked Rosetti a few times, and he's apprehensive to answer. I don't think that he knows, but he's quite certain that the chance of an actual version of Gameward Brovement coming out is quite slim.

Also, on Toby's formspring he lists all of the songs used.

Candlelight is only slightly changed from a Volume 5 song. Candlelight and Clockwork, I think.

An Unholy Ritual uses Spider8ite prominently.

What you're thinking of is Candles and Clockwork. Candles and Merry Gentlemen mixes the two together, I'll listen to Candlelight more closely once I finish listening to some other awesome music.
that guy's version of Descend makes some quotes in it really easy to hear, namely Showtime, Doctor, and Dirgeish

I've never heard any of the Homestuck for the Holidays bonus songs, but I can assure you that it's a replica of a Volume 5 song.
