And a bunch of others I won't add because the list would be to long. Do notice that these are my favorite songs with lyrics to them. If we're to go with all the music from the movies, the list would be slightly different.

I'm surprised people are saying Circle of Life. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad song, it's just that I thought all the other Lion King songs were better, including those from Lion King II. My favorites from either would be Love Will Find a Way, You Will Be a King, I Just Can't Wait to be King, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight? :3

I found most of the songs from the tlk sequel to be rather mediocre (same as the animation of second movie, but that's stuff for another thread). He Lives In You is the exception... which could be explained with that song originally being made for the first movie, but cut for lack of time.

And what is "You WIll Be A King"? That song is named Zira's My Lullaby. Redeemed in my eyes for being written by Joss Whedon.

Oh. Well I never knew the name to that song, so I just took a wild guess.

Circle of Life is still my least favorite out of them all. If I had to rank them, they'd go like this.

Their songs were okay when I was a simple child, but now as a jerk of a teenager, they make the movies unwatchable, I fast forward through them.

No, the duet between Kiara and Simba is We Are One. For someone who's claiming to be such a fan you have a low knowledge of the songs. ^_^ Do you even have the soundtracks?

I was waiting for this thread to pop up.

My all-time favourite song from any Disney movie is "I Wan'na Be Like You (The Monkey Song)" from The Jungle Book. I love the final chorus. Also from the same movie, I love "That's What Friends Are For (The Vulture Song)." I'm a sucker for a capella. I especially love the "When you are dooooowwwwnnn...." harmony line.

My next favourite is probably "When I See an Elephant Fly" from Dumbo. I guess I have a thing for the classic movie songs.

Aladdin is one of the Disney movies that has a bunch of killer songs. I'm in particular a big fan of "One Jump Ahead," along with (of course) "Friend Like Me" and "A Whole New World."

Likewise, Beauty and the Beast is pretty much just one great song after another. "Belle," "Be Our Guest," and the title song are all personal favourites.

The Lion King has already been discussed a lot. I have to add my voice to the chorus of people who love "Circle of Life," but I also love "I Just Can't Wait to Be King," "Hakuna Matata" and especially "Be Prepared."

The Little Mermaid also has some of my favourites. "Under the Sea," "Poor Unfortunate Souls" (great villains tend to have great songs, see "Be Prepared" above), "Kiss the Girl," and a bit of an outside winner, "Les Poisson."

Someone already mentioned "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" from Mulan, and I will heartily second that. It was actually a song I liked so much I downloaded it years and years ago back in the days of Kazaa.

Finally, another maybe less-thought-of-one is "Oo De Lally" from Robin Hood. One of my personal favourite Disney movies, so the opening song is definitely going to list amongst my favourites.

Oh. And the reason I lack a bit of knowledge on the songs is that one, I haven't seen either movie in a long time, and two, I haven't listened to the songs in awhile save for Love Will Find a Way.

Only Disney song I can think of that I fast-forward through when watching the movie. Something about that song just bothers me.

I really ought to find some of the older Disney classics on dvd, just so I can watch them in English. I saw them all in Swedish growing up, so a lot of the songs you're talking about... only heard them in Swedish.
