Well, I'll just give you a quick layout of the rp: This takes place in Hyrule, but characters can come from regions like Termina, or even the Great Sea (well, except the sea hasn't flooded Hyrule at all...) OCs are welcome, but if you can, try to play a canon character as well. I can't stress this enough that those canon characters aren't going to just sit back and let your OCs take over Hyrule. Also, please post your entries in a
Third Person Format I'm terribly sorry, but nothing annoys me more than first person or even script format.
Anywhoo, I guess that's about it. I'll start off but for a while I'll also play as Daphnes since there's no one here to claim this canon character yet. so, I'll go first. Remember though, it doesn't have to be as long as the post I've just written, but please don't do something so simple as "___ jumped over the fence." Detail brings the RP to life, not incomplete sentences.
Thank you for your understanding. --DoubleEdgeSword

Bright golds and pinks spread across the sky in a dazzling light show of color, reflecting the hues of red and orange of the surrounding landscape of the fields and hills as the sun slowly rose over the horizon. Darkness was slowly cast away as the life giving light of the morning sun slowly washed its way over the land of Hyrule.
Silence of the night had not let up just yet as an early morning mist settled upon the grasses, obscuring the early morning sunrise into a that of a soft blue as the sun gained ground, the gentle rays lighting up the vast fields.
Raine brushed a strand of hair away from her blind eye while she leaned against the soft back of the chair, giving a quiet sigh every now and then as she stared blankly out the window that overlooked the castle courtyards. She had to admit; she was bored despite her options of going outside. Something in her mind kept her from enjoying the nice weather.
Her daemon shifted impatiently on his taloned feet, shuffling his feathers every now and then before roosting quietly on his perch until he was antsy again.
Raine turned her head towards her kestrel daemon, "Arkadion, stop it!" She hissed quietly. "The maids en't gonna be happy if they see you messing up the chair."
Arkadion glared impatiently out the window, but said nothing, deciding to amuse himself by preening his wings.
“Milady…” Raine turned around to see one of the castle’s maids enter her room. “Milady, His Majesty wishes to speak with you.” The maid bowed. Raine never liked it whenever the maids and servants bowed in front of her. It just made her feel awkward and nervous. “No need for formalities, ma’am… really.” She got up and adjusted her boots. "I'll just get over there in a minute. But I thank you for notifying me."
The maid gave a brief blush for being thanked but regained her composure. "Of course, Milady..." With that, she quietly went outside and into the halls.
Raine gave a quiet sigh, she was bored but she didn't want to bore herself even more with something as dull as paperwork and scribing. With a deep breath, she rolled her eyes as she strode down the halls on her way to the throne room, her daemon happily perched on her shoulder.
--------------------------
The throne room was probably the most extravagant places within Hyrule Castle. Many portraits of previous rulers lined the walls along with regal architecture such as arches and stained glass windows. Raine quietly cleared her throat as she gave a polite smile towards the castle staff and guards as she passed by them. She may have been serious about her work, but she still had plenty of time to socialize when she wanted to.
Probably another errand or more paperwork to complete... She thought to herself, feeling the plush red carpet beneath her worn leather boots. She finally averted her gaze and kneeled in respect towards the King.
"You wanted to see me, Your Majesty?" She questioned politely.
Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule let a welcoming smile cross his features before speaking, "No need to kneel, Raine... You know I shouldn't have to tell you to take things so seriously. Now, on your feet."
Raine mentally rolled her eyes before getting up, "Sorry... Got a lot on my mind s'all." Arkadion fluttered around eagerly before finally perching on the woman's shoulder.
Daphnes nodded in understanding, "Well that's quite understandable for someone your age. Now, before I go rambling on, I have an important task for you." He gestured for her to come closer before speaking. "There's been some suspicious activity going around in town. A few guards reported seeing someone who resembled one of our generals. I need you to find out what he's up to, and you shall report any suspicious behavior either directly to me or to the Captain of the Guard. That will be your first priority in this task. I trust you'll accept this?"
Raine nodded with a salute, "Yes sir."
Daphnes nodded, "Good, good. Now we'll have some of the staff escort you over there, but they'll keep it incognito when you're around the man. I'll be waiting for a full report immediately. Do your best, and try to lighten up just a bit, Raine..."
Raine paused before giving a slight smile, "I'll try... Father." She replied before finally taking off, Arkadion fluttering excitedly around her.
------------------------
"He asked you to what?"
Raine couldn't help but roll her eyes at her friend before shushing her, "Will you shut up?! They'll hear you!" She hissed.
"Sorry..." Malon shrunk back a little before continuing in a hushed tone. "So, your father thinks one of the generals is up to something? Do you think it's true?"
Arkadion fluttered in midair in nervousness while Raine glanced around her before replying, "Well, I know he wouldn't lie to me, cuz that en't him at all... but by the sound of things, it sounded serious. So I pretty much have no choice, it's my job, en't it?" She smirked a little.
Malon just shrugged as she leaned on the bar counter, idly swirling her shot of whiskey. "I know... but if he's a general--if that's true I mean-- then wouldn't he have the power to arrest and charge you?"
"If he does, I'll get away, trust me. It'll be a-"
"Shh! I think he's coming!"
Raine turned her head slightly, as to not attract any attention as she watched the man walk calmly into the tavern. He looked just like any of the generals she had seen in the army, only this man was different, but in a subtle way. There was something about his eyes that sent chills up and down Raine and Malon's spines, and even the woman's kestrel daemon was shifting uneasily from foot to foot.
What else was very disturbing was that Raine could've sworn that she saw a tiny serpent head peek out from under one of his plates of armor before retreating back to its hiding place.
'A daemon!' Raine tried to keep from getting nervous as she watched the man sit down a yard away from her with a few other soldiers.
