Return of the Heroes (Anyone)

OoC: It is good to be back for what little time I have to get on. This quest is just my returning to the BA, and I will namely be controlling Deadeye. Deadeye is basically on a search for his fellow Heroes (Krayt and Soundwave), as an unnamed evil is beggining to surface. Join and help out the green clad archer!

BiC:

The crowd was always loud and unnerving at this time of day, yet still people insisted on passing through. Among the many faces was one that paticuraly stood out, because he blended in so well. The man wore a trashy brown hooded cloak, which hid his face. The man said nothing, and seemed to look at nothing but what was in front of him.

As he slowly walked down the street amongst the crowd, he came to a stop. The man then turned to his left and went down an alleyway, drawing him away from the loud hustle and bustle of the market road. The only sound that could be heard was the crowd's distant chattering, and the footsteps of the man as he neared a corner.

"Nice shoes....I like the green color. I think we'll be taking them," a man said as he stepped from behind the corner, followed by three more guys. They were gritty and rugged looking men, cracking their knuckles and necks, preparing to mug the man in the cloak.

"....Think before you act, this is not neccesary," The cloaked man said without showing a hint of fear.

"Im thinking I like those shoes, and Im thinking we will be taking them." the rugged man said as he cracked his knuckles. "You should have picked a different alley to walk down!" The man added as he jabbed his fist forward towards the cloaked man.....

"I told you that was not a neccesary battle. You should really listen more carefully," The hooded man said to the pile of thugs, as they moaned and groaned.

"...Who...who are you?" One of the thugs asked.

The hooded man then ripped off his cloak and tossed it onto the cold wet ground, revealing a green outfit. The thug saw his reflection in the man's sun-glasses, which reflected a very beaten up man.

"You'd know me as.....Deadeye!" The man said proudly. He then jumped into the air, grappled onto the top of the building and disappeared over the ledge of it. The thug's head then dropped back onto the ground.

As Deadeye lept from building to building, he heard a disturbance. He then turned tail and ran towards the scene of action.....

OoC: Hey, I'll be using Demyx for this one...

BiC: Demyx hadn't meant to cause such a commotion in the town. He had only meant to be passing through on his way to the Isle of Shadow, where it was said that an ancient, forgotten tome was hidden. He knew that the answers he sought could be found - at least in part - there. However, it was becoming apparent that his enemies were starting to grow in number - they had even come here, wherever this was.

The moment he had set foot in the crowded square, he had been singled out by Brenyk, one of the Lieutenants in the Dark Alliance. He was a ruthless killer, notorious for his shifty battle tactics... when he actually fought, that is. Most of the time, however, he sent his lackeys in to fight for him. He was a real coward. Demyx had no respect for those who could not fight on thier own.

Brenyk had challenged him to a fight, and Demyx had accepted, knowing full well that Brenyk wouldn't do any fighting. Instead, he had called upon the 'disposable' creatures which he was famous for using in battle, and departed through one ofv the portals which he could open and close at will in order to make a hasty retreat. Demyx had assummed that only one group of creatures would appear. However, after he had defeated them, wave upon wave upon wave of the creatures had appeared. Soon, even the unruly, gathering crowd had to dissapate so that they wouldn't get hurt by them.

As he fought, growing weary as time went on, another fighter came to his aid. For a moment, Demyx stopped and watrched the stranger. His fighting skill was interesting. He fought with a bow and arrow. Where needed, Demyx assisted the new warrior, but for the most part, he watched, amused. Perhaps this newcomer could help him get what he wanted. If not, he would take great pleasure in killing such a worthy adversary...
