Hikaru's Quest

Hikaru was quietly sitting in his place in the large room. The room was studded with green gems, the roof was missing, in order to let the clean forest airwaft in to the room. Everyone was bustling about, finding their spot before the meeting. In the center of the room, there was a large wooden post, behind the post was the president of the Farore Clan, Elizibeth Margret.
As soon as everyone had found their place, Elizibeth said,
Now, as you all know, the forest is being destroyed by evil beings. Somthing you may not know however, the monsters have been multiplying."
Everyone in the room figeted.
"How is this possible?" Someone inquired.
"We don't know yet. But we do know of a way to stop them."
The entire room was silent.
"In the land of Hyrule, there are three things that can destroy evil. The Master sword, the Light arrows, and The Vanquishers Sword. The Vanquishers sword, like the Master Sword, will completeley destroy anything it touches."

"How will someone claim this sword? The answer lies in you. It will only accept someone who has suffered dearly."
Hikaru was silent.

"We will require someone to go and retreive this sword, someone who has indeed suffered..." No one moved. The room was as empty.


"I will go." Hikaru was solemn. He stood and bowed. He left the room after some more anouncements. He left the woods easly cutting down monsters in his path. He emerged into Hyrule field. Somthing caught his eye. There was a person on the ground.

RULES: Battles last about a paragraph long, heres a link to my character for reference. Remember that the next to join is lying by the ground, be sure to add how that happened. After each post please add a new character to the party. The quest is to find this Vanquishers sword. We can stop adding characters after four more have been added.

OoC: I haven't been to ZU in a while, so I'm sorry if my posts are a little bit.. short.
By the way, do you mean I have to add more characters? O.o;


BiC: Sakura was hardly asleep, but when she heard footsteps from far away, she woke up. Looking around, still laying there on the ground with her cat lovingly rubbing against her, she wondered where she was. The only thing she could remember, was touching some old relic thing then transporting somewhere. She stood up and wiped the dirt off her clothes and sighed.

She turned around to see Hikaru and slowly approached him, readying her sword. "Hey, who the heck are you?!" She asked, only a few feet away from him, her eyes met his as she tried to recognize them, but she couldn't. "And where am I?..." The cat slowly made it's way to Hikaru and rubbed against him.

"I am Hikaru, and who are you?" Hikaru asked her curiously as he looked at her, then looked at the cat for a moment, and back at her again.

She looked at him, he didn't look like he was going to try and attack her or anything, and her cat seemed to like him, so she put away her sword. "My name, is Sakura. Nice to meet you." She shook his hand and smiled politely.

Hikaru took Sakura's Hand and shook it briefly.
To answer your question, you are outside the Farorian forest. My question, is, how did you get here? The cat brushed up against Hikaru and meoed loudly. What a loud cat... He thought. Sakura said, I don't remember exactly... I think it went somthing like this.

I was traveling in southern Hyrule, my cat and I were taking a walk when we spotted a cave. My cat here, being curious as it was, ran into the cave. I chasd after it but then before I could stop it, it jumped into a hole. I jumped in after it of course. We noticed at the back of the room was a large wooden Triangle. Silly me reached out and touched it, and now, we are here. Hikaru was sitting down listening to the long story. He said blankly, Well.... Thats curious. The cat jumped back and hissed when hikaru stood up unknowing that the cat was at his feet................. What's the cats name anyway?Hikaru asked.

OOC: No YOU don't have to make more characters. I just implied that other people will join.

[Saruna]

OoC: Ahh okay than.

BiC: "Err, Kyoko, yes thats her name." Sakura replied as she picked up the little fur ball and pet its head with a smile. "I've had her sense, I can't remember, but its been quite a while." She said happily as she looked back at Hikaru. "So, what are you doing here? And how do I get back anyways?" His clothing finally caught her attention, it wasn't like what she was used to, after looking at it for a bit, she looked back at Hikaru.

"I'm not quite sure, but you may be able to find a simple way back." He said to her and looked around. "By the way, I'm trying to obtain a sword, would you like to assist me?"

Sakura nodded. "Sure," she said simply, then thought for a second "if you can find me a way home, or at least try when we're done. What kind of sword might this be, anyways?" she asked, wondering how hard it would be to obtain it, or if it would be hard at all, hopefully they wouldn't run into anything suspicious.

"....The sword is called the Vanquishers Sword." Hikaru said in a hushed tone. Sakura Gasped. "You mean..." "Yes." Hikaru said quickly. "But no one can know. It is a secret mission. You see....

The forest where me and my comrades live is under siege by monsters. The Vanquishers Sword is much like the master sword. Except anything it touches will disapear. Only one who has suffered greatly can touch it without disapearing." His mind turned to his parents, and his brother.... And Flinse. He fought hard not to cry in front of his new comrade. Sakura was shocked. Then they heard somthing. It was plain as a field. Someone was evesdropping.

[Saruna]

Hearing noises coming from the forests, like a man running around bushes. She walked slowly to the forest, taking out her sword once more. "Whose there?" She asked, holding her sword cautiously. "Hellooo?" She called out curiously, feeling kinda stupid, and like Hikaru had no idea what she was doing at all. She sighed and walked back, but before she made it completely out of the forest, someone wrapped their arms around her neck, her sword dropped, and she elbowed them in the gut, then held her sword over him with a laugh. "Not so smart are you?" She shoved him away, then finished him with a swift kick to the head, knocking him out, but he would soon awake with a head ache.

"Lets get out of here." Sakura said, walking back to Hikaru. "He might remember something, but if hes too late to catch up when he awakens, the chances are, remembering something will be of no importance. Hes probably going to wake up with quite the pain in his head, if you know what I mean." She said with a laugh, looking over to a city like area, or a castle or something. She put her sword away and fallowed Hikaru as he began to lead the way.

Walking along the path Hikaru was feeling catios. Obviously sombody wanted him not to find the Vanquishers Sword. "I get the feeling that man worked for the monsters. If we can find out who he is we could gat some answers." Hikaru said. "However... He did go after you."
"That's true." Sakura said. Kyoko was folowing cheerfully. Hikaru began to slow. Sakura turned around and caught him up. This was the first time he got a good look at her.
"It's no wonder he would grab you, you are after all, very attractive." Hikaru grinned.
Sakura managed a chuckle. They came to the town after about five more minutes of walking. That was when they realized the city was burning! Bokoblins and all other sorts of monsters were tearing it down. Hikaru drew his sword. Sakura did also. Hikaru ran down the street, stabbing Bokoblins all the way. Sakura had taken an alternate route.He aproached a large group of Moblins at which he threw an Arbiters Tornado. He then realized they were covering a gap. A large gap. There were a few Bulblin archers on that end. Hikaru quickly pulled out his Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix and lit up all three Bulblins.
He used Farores Wind at himself and made it accross the gap. Unless he didn't remember, the route that Sakura had taken also led to this gap.

[Saruna]

Sakura looked at all the children and parents in need of assistance, instead of walking to the gap, she helped them out to the exit of town. When she went back into town, she just barely avoided several falling parts of buildings that were set aflame, she stabbed some of the enemies, and others she slice and diced. Eventually, she was cornered by things set aflame, and the enemies destroying the town seemed to have all been destroyed. She didn't panic, and instead thought of a reasonable way out.

Hikaru, however, was searching for Sakura still at the moment, which he had no idea where she had gone off to help others in need of assistance out of the burning town. And, he was still running into the enemies and killing them with his skills and swordsmanship.

Kyoko was standing behind Sakura as she put her sword away, then picked the little cat up and jumped over the flames, knowing that only a certain amount of time in a flame can harm you, and she had made it past the fire quickly also. She looked over at the gap ahead and wondered how she was going to get across.

OOC: Im back! School, year now so updates may be scarce.

Bic: Hikaru had searched the entire city now. He went back to the gap to make one last check before hightailing it. He noticed her then. Sakura was still in the city. "We need to get out of here!" He yelled at her. she nodded rather sheepishly and ran after him, Kyoko in tow. Once they had made it out, the could only watch as the remaints of the city were burned to there frames. Hikaru hands in his pockets began to trudge toward a diner in the middle of the field. It was a shabby place but it wasn't burning. Inside they found a seat and sat down. Behind them smeone shouted "Ay! Boy!" The man was obviosly the same one that came out of the forest. His accent was a sort of low life english. He had a score to settle with Sakura and Hikaru.

OoC: This guy should be a third poster if possible. Yes we're hiring!

[Saruna]

OoC: Gotta love school... no not really.

BiC: Sakura looked over at him and sighed, Great, its him. She thought, flashing a smile at the guy. "You look in good condition for that blow to the head." She said simply, waiting for the waiter, or waitress if it was. She looked away, wondering what he wanted now, if he was seeking information about the sword or what, or if he wanted to help them.

"Yeah, you're pretty tough." The man said, a chuckle fallowing it.

Sakura giggled silently as the waitress came and looked at the two. "What would you like to drink?" She asked them simply.

"Water, please." They both said at the same time, now ignoring the man for the time being.

"And to eat?"

"I'm not sure yet, when you get the water I might be." Sakura replied as the waitress then looked over at Hikaru and said, "And what would you like sir?"

"Nothing if you please." Unlike Sakura, Hikaru couldn't come off a subject very easily. He was still staring at the man. The waitress walked off. "Who are you? Hikaru asked the man. "I'm Abdul." The man held out his hand for Hikaru to shake but he remained stationary. His hand on his sword. The mans face twisted up into what looked like some kind of Jackel. Abdul's hand was very hairy now. This was the first time that Hikaru could see the other side of his hand. It had some kind of small bombchu on it. Abdul pounced on Hikaru but he Unsheathed his sword with lightning reflexes and promptly cut into Abduls chest. The waiters and waiteresses were shocked. Sakura heard lots of "Check pleases." Hikaru wiped his sword off with a napkin and sat back down. There was some clapping and then Hikaru said, "We'd better get going. I have a feeling that he told the head of the monsters about us." Sakura nodded. Hikaru left a yellow Rupee on the table and walked toward the door. Sakura and Kyoko followed.

[Saruna]

"Err, I'm not staying here for long when we find that sword." Sakura said simply, not caring to risk her life longer than needed. The fields seemed to be awfully quiet, and it seemed too quiet for her. Of course, she was used to loud towns or cities, where she came from, thats about all she ever saw, aside from some places out of town, or areas that were not often visited. "Is this field always this quiet?"

Hikaru nodded, "Unless something strange is going on. And monsters don't often visit it either." he said, still leading her slowly to the area that he thought the sword would be.

Sakura stopped and thought about it for a minute or two, then continued to fallow him. It must be really boring than, or else people really like to enjoy the moment silently. She thought, then began to wonder how long it would take to get to where they were going, and if they would meet up with anyone else they wished not to encounter.

[Jeaulm]

A small humanoid figure stepped into the path that the Sakura was walking on.

"What is this about a sword? Maybe I could be of assistance?My name is Faite and this...oh hold on let me get him."Faite said as he took of his pack and looked around in it.
"Ah here we go,"Faite said as he pulled a small figurene from his pack "Danzi come to me my fire!"Faite said placing athe small figurene onto the ground

A slow mist began to appear around the statuett taking the form of what the statuett looked like.

"There you go, Meet Night, My friend from the Material Plane...I have had him for a long while...can I join your quest?"Faite asked even though he knew the answer was probably no...after all he didnt know anythiing about this world...the only companion he had was this guy named Esdon....but that was a long time ago and he and Esdon had parted ways after a battle with a dark lord.

Faite was sure the answer would be no. Right when he gave up hope and turned to walk away, Hikaru said, "The more the merrier I guess..... The sword is most likely on that mountain. Hikaru pointed. Night, the figurine beast, had apeared by now and was straffing around Kyoko.
Sakura picked the cat up before any aggressiveness could start. Hikaru remembered Faite from that Farore meeting so many years back. Faite had only showed up once.

[Jeaulm]

"Thank you, I think I know you but I'm not sure from where.... I was in a meeting with my fellow farorians in a forest and as soon as some one said they'd go I figured I'd go with them....but it seems im not really good at remembering faces....He took off and met some one else...I'm not sure who but i went to sleep and now i can't find him..."

"I cant find him and now I have found you! you may be going to the same place as him! I will find my fellow Farorian and help him in any way I can! Thank you! Oh and don't be worried about Night...he's really quite gentle unless provoked. And even then He wouldnt hurt a friend!
