Soul of a Demon (any demon based character may join)

OoC: Alrgiht then due to many complications, my previous thread became all spam. So I made this one. The same people may join from the last one, Spartan-117 and Twin Blades. This one will have a plot! All the character meet and go on a quest to find the Soul of Demons. The Soul of Demons is a stone tablet that contains the soul of every demon that ever died. The person (or demon) who finds it will gain some of their power and knoledge. I will be using Keldar the Demon Spawn

INTRO POST!

BiC: I flew over the town of Thunder Springs and admired it from above. It was a small town, with simple homes and buildings. That wasn't what made me admire it. In the center of the town a giant bonfire stood. It was bigger than the homes and had many people standing near it.

I landed near the fire and walked to the man that most of the crowd gathered near. He was a story teller and was just beggining a story about the Soul of Demons. I had read about it and knew it was real, but what I did not know is where it was. I sat down and listened to his story.

Legend tells of a stone tablet that contains the souls of over one thousand dead demons. It is belived to give the one who touches it the knoledge and power of the demons. If a demon were to touch it then he would gain the power of the demons, but not as much. The demons already have great power and do not need to use all the demon soul power. The tablet will not allow it. Some say the tablet is in the jungles, others say the oceans, and others still say it is in the forests. But I know where it is...the Soul of Demons is in a temple in the sky!

After that statement the man jumped up and fell into the fire. The crowd ran away screaming in terror and went to their homes. I looked at the burning reamins of the man who told the story. He knew everything else about the Soul of Demons, perhaps he was right about the location too. I would have to find it and get it before a human or anything else does. If anything besides a demon got it then the world would end, I would need a team of demons to help me. I sent out a team of messenger imps to find the nearest demons in the area and bring them to me.

OoC: There it is!

OoC:
Sweet! I'm using Deimos (obviously).
BiC:
Deimos stepped from his cave and took a deep breath of fresh air. The one good thing about the surface, was that it was so... Fresh. He flew up into the sky. Soaring through the wind, trying to plan the day. He flew down onto a small chain of islands. Deimos looked around the small island. It was a decent place. Nice and warm, volcanically active. It was a nice little place to stop and rest. He settled down in a cave filled with lava pools and the like. He layed down and closed his eyes...

Suddenly his reflexes went on overdrive. He heard something, and smelled something. He was on his feet and lunging toward the intruder faster than he could react. But suddenly Deimos found that training paid off, as he pinned an imp to the wall with his trident and nullified his powers with his own by pure reflex.
"Who are you?" Deimos demanded.
"I-I-I" The imp desperately squeaked.
"Who are you?" Deimos repeated.
"I-I'm j-just a m-m-messenger imp. Please don't hurt me!"
Deimos' eyes narrowed. He probed the imp's mind. The imp silently quivered. Finally he put his trident away. The imp fell to the ground, gasping.
"The Soul of a Demon... That sounds good. I could always use a power boost or two. You may return to your master," Deimos said, dismissing the imp. The imp nodded weakly and managed to teleport. Deimos jumped and soared to the imp's master...

Tears of rain fell silently from heaven, dropping one by one, falling peacefully over darkness. One drop fell through light itself, reflecting itself and sparkling beautifully.

"Damn it!" A harsh voice growled through the night. The voice of Kraton, Heaven's Outcast.

He didn't know where he was, where he was going, or even what he was doing. All he knew was that darkness would restrict whatever it was he ended up doing. With that thought ringing in his mind, light pulsed out of him, exerting itself into a perfect sphere. The globe of light bobbled in the air, before shooting off in no particular direction.

Kraton was on the run. From Heaven. From Hell. Both Hades and Zeus were after the outcast. Never before had powers from both Angelic and Daemonic forces been constructed into one being. Anger and hate were not the reasons for Kraton's hunt. Fear was. Little did they know that Kraton had no idea of his own power, and certainly had no intent of overthrowing either of them.

Then Kraton noticed something courtesy of his light. A small imp, scuttling along the ground beneath him. Imp's were Daemonic minions. Hades? Kraton mused to himself. How could he have tracked me to here? I'll make sure that imp doesn't report back... The haste of the light halted and started to grow into the shape of Kraton's human form.

"Stop there imp," the outcast's bitter, harsh voice rung in the air, the imp stopped as a result.

"I don't have time mortal, I have errands to run that you could not possibly contemplate," the small green daemon spoke in a high pitched, wheezy voice that was filled with annoyance.

Kraton merely stood in the imp's way. "Try me." Kraton's mouth curled upwards slightly as the imp tried to avoid the Greek, but was blocked as Kraton lifted him up easily, bringing him to head height.

"Get off of me! I need to find some Daemon's quickly! if I don't my master might-" He started in a flustered tone.

"Daemons? Who is your master? Are you not one of Hades' minions?" Realisation spread into the outcast's final sentence.

"Certainly not! My master is Keldar, the almighty Daemon spawn!" The imp announced dramatically, as if introducing a ruler or emperor.

"Keldar...? Hmmm... take me to this Keldar, I may help him. The conditions will be sorted out later." He morphed as he spoke, into his Daemon form. He didn't wished to reveal his Angelic powers unless he was forced too, and if he didn't tell them of his Titan form... He might be able to surprise hidden enemies.

The imp spoke no more, but hurried off into the darkness. Kraton followed him, expecting the unexpected.

OoC: Sorry I'm late.

BiC: The sun shone in the sky. The dense fog that lingered around the city streets disappeared, bringing out the mortal beings from their hiding. The vampires were gone as well, as they were in hiding from the deadly beams of light that could burn them to the ground they set foot on. Vampires weren't the only ones hiding from the sun, though.

"Just sit still, and I'll get these wounds fixed up for you." And old man was tending the wounds of the beast, who was also in hiding from the sun's rays inside an abandoned warehouse.

"Hurry up and close them, so that I can go after that stupid werewolf tonight," Kinar growled. His acidic blood poured out from his body through the severe cuts he had been given by his prey the other night. The demon's blood fell to the ground, burning it as it poured out. "And if you plan to stop me, old man, I will feast on you instead."

"Always the same threats, but you still keep me here with you," the old man sighed, wearing thick, rubber gloves to protect his hands from the acidic blood. He was weaving a needle through the demon's skin to close the wound with metallic thread, which he made sure would not burn. "If you keep that up, then whatever you chase after will die only by anything but you."

"Shut up, human!" the demon replied with furious behaviour, angered by the old man's words. "Whoever tries to escape from me will face death by my hands. Do not forget that, old man!"

"Just keep still, or this won't close up so easily." The old man continued weaving the metallic thread through Kinar's skin. During that time Kinar fell silent, resting from the night before. The battle between him and his prey played through his mind. You will not escape me, mortal, for whosoever decides to start a fight with me will perish by me. I swear on my clan's life that you will die the next time I see you.

"Alright, all done," the old man said with a proud feeling in him. "I think that's a good job I did, don't you think?"

The demon stood up and moved his arm around. "The scars are not so bothersome, but they will be in the way."

"Now all you have to do now is just rest and by nightfall you can..."

Kinar turned his head quickly one way. He sensed a presence in the area, outside the warehouse he was in. It was a small, faint presence, weak and helpless compared to a human's strength. It was small, almost like a rat. Kinar first thought it was a rat, until he took precautions. Quickly putting on the top part of his robe, Kinar dashed toward the presence of the weak life he sensed.

"Hey, wait!" The old man called out to the demon, clutching a piece of cloth in his hand. "What about your ma..." and before he could finish, he just decided to forget about it.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

A little imp was searching for something around the outside of the warehouse, but it wasn't obvious as to what it was he was looking for. He scurried all around the place, but it seemed that he could not find what it was he came for.

"Damn, I can't find him," the imp said, irritated. "I thought he was here, but now I can't find him. Where could he..."

At that moment he was kicked up and crushed between a box and someone's palm. The imp looked at who attacked him without his notice, and saw what he assumed was what he was looking for. He could not tell what it was, though, for the shadowsthey were in concealed part of his face.

"I finally found you, demon," the imp said, assuming correctly that it was a demon.

"Who the hell are you, imp!" Kinar asked demandingly. "And why do you mock my strength by coming here?"

"Forgive me, I am only here by my master's orders." The imp began to breathe heavily. "He asks that all demons we can find shall come to him."

"Why should I come? If there is no purpose for me to come, then I should just rip you apart." Kinar snarled into the imp's face, creating more fear in the little creature.

"Please don't," the imp begged. "I don't klnow his reasons, but he asks that you come to him."

Kinar thought about if he should go or not. The idea of going seemed like a waste of time if no reason existed as to why he should go, but even then he would not go. However, something in him drove his curiosity further about the imp's master and his reason for sending a messenger to call Kinar to his presence. His mind, then and there, was set.

"Fine," the demon replied. "I will go to your master."

"That's great," the imp said relieved. "Let me go, and I can lead you to him."

"No need for that," Kinar said. His hand which clutched onto the imp gripped the little creature even more, killing it. Blood poured down onto Kinar's hand, and he licked the blood off. Being that it was no good for the demon, Kinar spat it out with disgust. He walked into the warehouse, ignoring the sun's rays burning his flesh slowly. He turned his head to see the crushed imp on the floor.

"I can find him myself, without the help of a weak creature."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

"Are you sure that you should go, Kinar?" the old man asked worriedly. "What if it could be a trap?"

"Stop wasting your time worrying about me, old man," Kinar said annoyed by the man's complaints, as he was putting his leather armour on himself. "Even if it were, this 'master' would be at my feet, begging for his life."

"Just be careful," the old man warned. "Even if they hate you, or unaware of you, humanity needs you Kinar."

"Oh, shut up about them," Kinar snapped, as he placed his chest piece onto his chest. "They only agravate me, nothing more. They are weak, and they deserve nothing from me, let alone my protection from vampires."

"Just come back, alright?" The old man asked.

Kinar put his gauntlets around his forearms, and checked out if everything worked well. He unsheathed his blades from his gauntlets, and sheathed them back after speculation. He then lifted his right forearm to his face and unsheathed the blade from around his wrist, and soon sheathed it back.

"Now that you're ready to go," the old man began, "Is it such trouble as to use the door?"

Before he could get an answer, the old man witnessed Kinar's dash out through the window, shattering the glass into many pieces.. The old man became a bit irritated afterwards. "Damn, Kinar. Can't you save an old man from cleaning after you?"

OoC: Finally! Took you long enough Spartan-117, but it is okay. Now the characters shall meet and the real fun can begin!

BiC: I stood just outside the town, waiting for my imps to return with the demons that would help me. Why did I have to ask the demons for help, they are going to hate me. I look like a mere human! I decided to just wait until they came, and hope they would not kill me on sight.

I stood outside for what seemed like hours. I began to read the Demon Code Book; I would need it memorized if I was to be a Knight of the Demon Council. I began searching through the most wanted list. I was shocked, as I always am when I read this, by the sheer number of demons that have broken the Code. The Council's power does not stretch across to all demons, and due to no unifying ruling system, there are many Demon Kings and other such things.

I felt the presense of my imps. They were returning to me, all but one it appeared. Strange, why would one of them abandon me and disobey my direct orders? That is not like imps at all. They are usually extremely stupid and weak. In the distance I saw three figures and three messenger imps coming towards me. I cast a powerful sheild of dark magic around me, a sheild that required I slash my own hand to use the blood as power. This sheild should hold up against most any attack. It should also show those who think I am weak that my magic is indeed very strong.

There were three demons about thirty feet away from me now. Well, two demons and an imp. One looked as if it could kill you just by looking at you, its wings and horns were impressive and tough looking. The demon's skin was very dark and looked as if it could repel canon fire without breaking. One was covered in black clothing, its eyes were covered and looked as if it realy resented being in the sun. The last was an imp. An IMP??? I ask for demons and they bring me an imp? A stupid weak little creature that can barely stand the sunlight? But the imp was out in broad daylight acting as if he was in darkness. I sent out a pulse of dark magic to feel their power.

All of them had incredible power! Each of them, even the imp, gave off power levels very similar to my own. The power signatures were totally different, from totally different demonic realms. I could not quite place which realms or what their exact abilities were, but I could tell that I had assembled quite a team. They all stood three feet away from me. This should be interesting.

OoC: There it is, you each do your own version of meeting the others. The next group of posts is pretty much a way for everyone to see everbodies personality and reactions to everyone. Its pretty much a inner monolouge thing.

lol I am acting like a teacher. bossing and ordering you guys around. lol

Deimos looked at the others, sensing their power. They were all fairly powerful. Deimos wondered what they thought of him. At first glance he was weak. An imp of only a few hundred years. But he thought he could match each of the demons here.
It would probably be good to make some friends however. Every quest he'd been on somehow ended with people ganging up on him and the others not caring. He moved towards Kraton, "So, what's up?" He asked.
Edit: done. Wow, this post is wimpy. I'll have to make the next one ultra long.

OoC: Just a note, you have probably picked up on it already, but I will be spelling Daemons with that extra "a". And also, when Kraton is in a certain form, his other powers are hidden. I was going to make Kraton hide his Angelic powers from the group, it could be a good twist in the story. Think about it.

BiC:

Kraton started at the surrounding Daemons, none of them appeared particularly powerful, but strength still pulsed from them. Kraton felt a sudden twinge of guilt. He didn't want to tell them about his Titan, Angel, God and Human forms, but hiding something like that could be a mistake. He might not mind revealing his advanced Daemonic powers, but his Angelic powers were something that could set the group against him. His mental debate nearly caused him to miss the words the small imp spoke.

"After we find this Soul of Daemons? My powers will be." Kraton spoke with a smile, partly because the thoughts of the power were welcoming when one was on the run like Kraton. But mostly because the height difference between Kraton and the Imp was humorous. This tempted Kraton to change himself to a Titan just for further difference, but he controlled himself.

"I'm Deimos by the way." The Imp added quickly after.

The two other Daemons heard Deimos and quickly introduced themselves as Keldar, the Daemon spawn, and Kinar. Kraton finally introduced himself, but left out him banishment, simply for fear that it may to other information that he didn't want to give them yet.

Kraton still had one thought bouncing around his head and he so longed to ask Keldar about it, but he couldn't. What would happen to his Angelic powers? Will my Daemonic powers be enhanced but my Angelic powers stay the same? Will all my powers increase? Will nothing happen due to my Angel heritage? Kraton couldn't shake these worries. He wasn't afraid of the other Daemons. In fact if he became a god, he would probably be able to hold his own against all three. Lets hope it doesn't come to that.

OoC: I'll have Kraton reveal himself sometime later. Adad64, could you please change your post above?

OoC: Finally here.

BiC: It was awhile until he found the village, leaping through the forests he had to travel through, but he found it nevertheless. It seemed quiet at first, with nobody on the dirt roads that weaved between homes and shops, but he sensed fear among the people living inside. They must be in hiding, possibly from that demon that sent the small creature for me. Kinar walked along the dirt road, taking his time to speculate the demon who stood infront of a large bonfire: his appearance, his strength, his abilities and such things that Kinar found to be important in a strong and merciless warrior.

To his surprise, the demon didn't seem all that strong to him. He looked to be human, long, brown hair and bright green eyes. The demon was short compared to Kinar, with nothing but a book in his hands. Is this to be some sort of joke? Kinar became angered by this supposed demon's appearance. He felt like eating him after being without foo for more than a day almost, but the demon felt something eminating (sp?) from this human, something that prevented him from killing him. Maybe I should wait until I see what he really has to offer for my time wasted by his need of me. Only then will I feast upon him.

Out of what appeared to be nowhere, two other entities appeared nearby, walking alongside Kinar, to the same direction. One was an imp, seeming larger than what he had wasted his time killing at the warehouse. It was red, more than half his height, and his wings weren't even fully grown. He carried with him a small trident, red and black, which looked to be dull in Kinar's opinion. What made this imp more like a joke was his horns, for they appeared to look like a strong set, but they looked too big on the imp's head. If what I will be dealing with are these weak creatures, then I have come here just to waste my time. He stopped and was about to turn around to face the opposite direction, ready to leave, until one other being caught Kinar's attention.

This one did not walk, but hovered over the ground, for he had wings of a demon. His skin was dark, almost black, with short horns protruding out from his head. The horns weren't that of a true demon in Kinar's mind, but he had the look and he felt a great amount of strength emanating from him. He showed promise, and changed Kinar's mind about leaving. Instead the blind demon walked towards the hovering demon and began conversation, something of which happens rarely between Kinar and anyone other than the old man.

"It seems I have been naive," the blind shinobi began, smiling wickedly but with a satisfied tone in his voice. The winged demon looked at Kinar, startled by his appearance. Kinar looked at the winged one. "I have been looking at these two weak creatures that I haven't noticed you and your promising strength."

"What do you mean, demon?" the winged beast asked.

"You show strength, unparalleled to many of which I know," Kinar replied. "These two do not show that strength which you do."

"Thanks for the compliment," the winged beast replied. "Let me introduce myself, I am Kraton. What is your name, demon?"

"I am Kinar, a shinobi and the rightful ruler of my clan, the Taikuja." Kinar looked away at the direction they walked toward. "I was disturbed by some small creature at my resting place, and he told me of this 'master' of his. I killed it, and I came here, wondering if I will get anything from wasting my time here."

"You killed the imp?" Kraton asked in disbelief. "Wow, you must be some merciless killer if you even kill the small, weak creatures."

"Those who are weak deserve to die," Kinar snarled. "Only the strong will be able to survive."

"I guess," Kraton said.

They came up to the one who stood infront of the bonfire. There was a long pause before the human spoke o the three.

"Welcome, fellow demons," he called out. "Your presence here hopefully assures me that my minions have done their job right." His face showed disappointment. "Well, all except for one."

"That 'one' is no more, human," Kinar spoke out. "The weak thing you brought to me mocked my strength by coming to me." Kinar slowly walked toward the human, then grabbed his neck ferociously. "You better have a good reason as to why you called me here, or else I'll have your head to repay me for the trouble of wasting my time finding you, and your body will be mine to feast upon."

OoC: Alright, I'm done my part for now.

OoC: Here it is! My internet broke just as I was posting this a few minutes before. Ouch.

BiC: The blind demon's hand was around my neck and I began to gasp for air. "We are here to fin the Soul of Demons." I managed to gasp out that sentence before I ran out of air completely.

The demon released me. "You think that you can find the Soul of Demons, you are a mere human! The only ones strong enough to even have a chance of finding it is me and Kraton." he turned away from me and began to walk away from the group. "You disgust me human, I wish you a painful death."

"Stop right there blind one!" I stood up and pulled out my katana. It glowed with a visalbe dark aura as I pointed it towards the demon. "If the Soul of Demons falls into the hands of a non-demon than the universe could collapse. Everything would die, I know you probably do not care at all about the humans and their lives, but I do! I am friends with many humans, I feel as if I need to protect them from horrible danger, but if you wish for them to die than feel free to leave."

The blind one stopped in his tracks and turned to me. "Very well, I will help you. Although I do not care about humans and their pitiful existance, I will help you, but only to increase my own strength so I may later hunt you down and killl you. But for now we shall work together, what is the plan?"

"Well first we will need some way to find out the location of the Soul of Demons. It is said to be in a temple in the sky. Deimos is the only one besides me who knows enough about the mechanics of magic to create a spell to track the Soul of Demons down. This will be much better than splitting up and searching for it."

"Alright then." Deimos said as he began to draw a diagram in the sand.

I opened my book and began going over the required amount of power for such a complicated spell. "It looks like we will need both Kratos and Kinar's power to fuel this spell. Deimos and I will contruct the spell and you two will build up power to make it work. Feel free to speak to eachother, Deimos and I will take turns about every hour on working on the spell. The spell should take rougly two or three hours to complete."

I sat in the dirt and began reading the chapter in my book about finding the location of items with magic.

OoC: There it is, finally! I hope I spelled everyone's character's names right.

EDIT: Oh, and Spartan? Im thinking that there should be a mutual hatred and rivalry between Keldar and Kinar. What do you think?

OOC:
You dare insult Deimos! How dare you! He has a much cooler name then yours!!! Lol. Oh and I'm watching #100 now.
BIC:
Deimos started to draw a symbol in the sand, his fingers moved in complex patterns and the symbol rose into a 3-d form. Deimos began to create runes and different patterns which meshed perfectly. "Let's see the professors scoff this..." Deimos muttered to himself. The imp started a particularly complex design, which required miniscule runes carved into the runes which meshed to create a strong focusing point of power. His brain strained and managed to visualize all the symbols and runes needed. He began to work when Keldar tapped him on the shoulder.

"let me work for a while, Deimos." He said.
Deimos nodded and walked towards the others. He turned to Kinar, with his massive bulk, sharp horns, and powerful magic. Deimos smiled and said, "Well, never fought one as strong as you before... But I could probably manage." Kinar snorted and turned as if Deimos was beneath his notice.
Deimos grinned mischeviously, and attempted to poke Kinar with his trident.
Kinar was on him in an instant. Somehow his trident was flying far away and The large demon was about to tear him to shreds. Deimos drew an extremely large and complex rune in miliseconds. Kinar smashed into it and froze. Deimos opened his eyes and let out the breath he didn't know he'd been holding. Then he grinned. It worked! It actually worked! No more demons poking fun about his age, no more demons pushing him around like an imp (well he was an imp, but whatever.), and no more dismissal, as if he were a lowly worm. Kinar suddenly snapped out of it. Deimos' eyes widened as the demon held Deimos by his neck and lifted him off the ground. Maybe he'd chosen a demon who was just a tad too powerful. And what a temper! Temper... temper... That's... funny... he couldn't think very well anymore. "Kinar..." Deimos managed to choke out before he blacked out.

OoC: I thank Adad64 for being the only one who didn't butcher Kraton's identity, but Daemonic names must begin with a "K", its an unofficial law. XD

BiC:

Kraton observed Deimos black out before Kinar's might. Kraton felt his pride buffer as he recounted Kinar's compliment. If they can sense that much power from my Daemon body, power must truly radiate from my Titan and God forms. The Daemon mused proudly. But he was also quite sceptical about Keldar's comment. Kraton knew fully about the structure of Daemonic magic, as well as Angelic magic, which he seriously doubted any of the other Daemon knew anything about.

"Kraton...?" A timid voice whispered gently in Kraton's ear. It was Keldar. Kraton felt comfortable around humans, he spent most of his time traveling humanely. But it was clear that Keldar didn't spend much time interacting with Daemons.

"Yes." It wasn't a question, but a pure sign to Keldar, attempting to show the human that Daemons are just as diverse in ability and personality as humans.

"Could you... well could you help the power the spell?" He asked Kraton quietly. The Daemon's eyebrows arched, but he agreed anyway. He merely sent Daemonic energy at the book Keldar was reading.

"Thanks!" his eyes lit up as he started reading again, more enthusiastically than before.

Kraton turned to Kinar, who had approached him following Deimos' black out. "Such a pitiful group for something so powerful?" Kinar boasted to Kraton. "It's a good thing you and I are here Kraton."

"Indeed." Kraton chose his words carefully. It was a good thing for Kraton, if any assassins tried anything whilst he was with the other three, then he could guarantee survival for as long as it took to find the Soul of Daemons.

Then Kraton remembered his previous worries. "Keldar?" He asked as he returned to the seated human. "What would happen if the Soul of Daemon's fell into the hands of an Angel?" Kraton tiptoed about the word.

"Heaven would become more powerful... much more powerful. It would signal the end for Daemons. That is why we can't let it happen." He eyed Kraton closely as he spoke, not suspiciously, but interestedly.

"The Angel would become powerful... " That was all Kraton needed to know, now he was even more up for finding the Soul of Daemons, he could boost all of his power...

OoC: This one will be rather short compared to my other ones.

BiC: Kinar spat on the ground. He was disappointed by the lack of power these demons had, if they could truly be called demons. I came to find power with powerful demons, not demons who lack power and strength! Kinar walked away from the group, kneeling down into a meditating stance. He tried to calm himself so that he could control himself, or else something far worse could have been done at that moment. Something worse than what the blind shinobi did to the imp. This old man's idea of 'training the mind' to control my visions should benefit me, or else my return from this search for power will not benefit him.

During that time of meditation, Kinar had a vision. This time it wasn't of the future, but of his past. It was when he trained to become a warrior when he was still a child, and still a part of his clan. His father sat on the side, watching him fight the soldiers. Why do I have this vision!? Kinar clenched his teeth in anger and distaste. He watched the vision further in his mind.

"Kinar, pay attention to the sound they make," his father shouted at him. "Ignore everything else and focus on the sounds. Forget that you cannot see, but use your ears as eyes."

"Shut up, father!" Kinar shouted. "I don't need your help!" At the same time he shouted those words, a guard came up and kneed him in the stomach, followed by a knock-out as the blind demon fell.

"I told you, son," his father began to explain, "That you should focus on their movement by using the sounds they make in the air and on the ground."

"I don't need your help," Kinar said, coughing up blood. "I can do it on my own, father!"

"One day, you'll realize that you won't be able to depend on your foolishness alone, son," the demon king explained. "You will need to manipulate those around you to gain what you want. You will need to gain the respect of those who have the abilities you do not possess, and help them to gain what you seek." His father put on a wicked smile. "And once you find what you want, you take away their life with pain and suffering."

The vision stopped, and Kinar came to. He grinned wickedly just like his father in his vision. That might be the only thing useful he's ever said. Kinar stood up, and walked to the group of demons.

OoC: Awww, everyone has a hidden motive and secret. I want one too! Ha ha! Oh and the Soul of Demons is in the form of a stone tablet, I dont know if I was clear on that or not. Oh and I know it is short, Ill just make the next one super long.

BiC: Finally the spell was complete. Within a few seconds we would know the location of the Soul of Demons. The spell light up and shot a beam of light with an aura of darkness into the air. After three minutes the light stopped and a glowing three dimensional map took its place. The map showed the universe at first, then the galaxy, then the world. Finally it showed that the temple in the sky was about six miles above our current location.

"Well, it looks like we need some way to get up there, does anyone here know how to fly?"

OoC: Sorry, I mean really really short, the next one will be HUGE!

EDIT: I will be gone for 2 weeks starting today. While I am gone the posting order is the following.

Deimos' head swam. He awoke in a small cavern. Wait. That couldn't be right. He wasn't in a cavern. He was outside testing his... spell...
Right. Memories flooded back to him. He looked around. He sensed he wasn't really here. That this wasn't reality... This must be a dream. He must have blacked out!
Deimos tried to walk to the wall of the small cavern to examine it, but he realized he couldn't move. He struggled and jerked but he just couldn't use any muscles! Suddenly dark energy gathered. As Deimos watched the darkness swirled and formed a familiar shape.
Kinar.
Deimos mind jumped. He knew what was happening. A vengeance spell. Kinar probably didn't even mean to, but he did. Deimos had poked Kinar with a trident! Surely that wasn't enough to grant a vengeance spell! There was no way Kinar could have learned to do a vengeance spell by himself. And Deimos knew that Kinar had no official training, just raw power. If he had created a vengeance spell subconsciously he could very well be the most powerful demon ever!
Suddenly a whip of light appeared out of nowhere and lashed at him.
Deimos desperately tried to get out of the way, but he couldn't move an inch. The powerful beam of light made contact and Deimos silently screamed in agony as he hurtled across the cave and hit the wall. He fell to the ground like a rag doll. As Deimos smarted and tried to recover, the whip struck again. And again. And again. Very little was known about vengeance spells, depending on the caster, it could go on for seconds, minutes, hours, or even days. Taking little or no time in the real world. Based on Kinar's power seen so far, Deimos guessed it would be at least a week. Deimos sobbed. He found he could move again. But it didn't matter. There was no dodging the infernal whip, and each time stole a little more of his energy. As the whip raised once more Deimos painfully tried to limp away. The whip struck with a loud crack. Deimos once more pounded the sharp edged walls. The imp crawled away weakly. It struck once more.
Deimos lost track of time after a while. Just pain. Pain that multiplied into a symphony of agony. Deimos wailed. This kind of agony was reserved for damned souls, not arrogant imps. As time went on. And on. And on, finally the shadow/Kinar moved towards Deimos and the whip stopped.
The shadow spoke, "I am an entity created by the spell. I have been summoned and can be summoned again. I bring only one act of mercy. I give a warning. If you make my master angry, I shall come forth once more. Now I fade, but I shall exist once more to torment your soul when he calls me.."
Deimos managed to nod as the walls shimmered, and the cursed whip faded into nothingness.
Suddenly Deimos found himself lying on the ground of the surface. He felt himself. He was uninjured. He breathed a sigh of relief as he picked himself up. As Kinar walked into camp, Deimos tried to slink away. He had no wish to continue the horror of what had happened. He shuddered and started to scamper away from him, trying to keep fear from his face.

OOC:
Whew, sorry it took so long!

"You aren't very observant are you Keldar?" Kraton gave a shadow of a smile as he turned around, plainly showing his gargoyle wings to the human. Keldar's eyes narrowed before he spoke. "Well you must carry us all up there, unless any of the others can fly...?" He turned to Kinar, who merely shook his head. "Well, I doubt Deimos can fly either." He continued casually. "I trust you have the strength to carry us all."

"Obviously, it will not take lon-" His thoughts interrupted him. You must not let them! If you touch them then they may be able to feel your power. He forced himself to realise. "No. I cannot." The Daemon finally managed to say. Both Keldar him as if to say: Maybe you aren't as powerful as I thought. "We will have to reach there some other way I am afraid," the outcast felt bad about lying to them. Not only was it unhelpful, but they probably doubted his power now. Kinar looked doubtful, but Keldar looked suspicious, he felt the need to explain something. "My power is siphoning away in broad daylight, I will not be able to fly whilst the I am like this," he lied, hoping that they would assume his strength was directly connected to shadow, as some daemon's were. "O...k.. we'll have to make due." Keldar finally said, rolling his eyes. "Where is Deimos?"

That thought suddenly sprung to mind, he hadn't seen Deimos in a while. Just as he was beginning to think he'd abandoned them, Kinar turned away from the pair, as if to hide something. "Kinar, what has happened to Deimos?!" Keldar raised his voice, obviously sure that the robed daemon knew something about it. Kinar spun round to look at the human, a nasty expression visible in only his eyes. Kraton sighed. Here we go again...

OoC: Let me just say that Kinar wears a red bandanna around his eyes, since he is blind. Also it just makes him look damn cool XD.

BiC: He snarled, disgusted by the question. Where is he, they ask, Kinar spoke to himself in his thoughts, mocking the question. Where that little, worthless imp should be is 6 feet under, as humans would say.

"Where is he, Kinar?" Keldar asked a second time. "You didn't kill him off, did you?"

"If I had the chance, then yes I would have," Kinar growled. "That dead weight is useless to me, and you as well, human." The blind shinobi turned around and walked away from the two.

"Don't underestimate me, demon," Keldar yelled out at the blind demon. "You have not seen my true strength."

At that instant, something boiled up inside Kinar's mind, for when he heard that he rushed towards Keldar and grabbed him by the neck, lifting him off the ground with one arm. Keldar held onto the demon's wrist, gasping for air, as Kraton attempted to pulled Kinar away, but he soon stopped, possibly out of fear of getting involved with a "barbaric" demon.

"You are foolish, human!" Kinar explained with ferocious attempt. "I can sense you, and everything in you and around you." He growled at the human, trying to put fear in him. "I can sense when you are scared and when you will be scared. I can feel your heartbeat, and the air you breathe around you. I can hear even the faintest of sounds during a raging thunderstorm on the ocean's surface. I can smell even the faintest of smells when gusts of the strongest winds blow across this planet." Kinar began to whisper into Keldar's ear. "I am your 'grim reaper', as you humans call him. I will take your life away at any moment."

"So will you take my life now? I bet you want to really badly," Keldar mocked.

"Fortunately for you, mortal," Kinar said as he brought his face closer to the other's, "You are the only one who knows more about this relic we're searching for, so killing you would ruin my opportunity of gaining power that will prove useful in conquering my father, and taking back what is rightfully mine!" With that, the blind demon furiously dropped Keldar back to the ground. Kinar walked away, but stopped for a moment. He turned his head as far as he could without turning his whole self, and said, "The stupid imp is fine. When he wakes up, tell him to mind his own business if he wants his own life kept." With that, he walked further and went into a meditative trance as he knelt down onto the ground.

OoC: Oh, and you might want to rethink about him getting that relic they all want so badly XD.

Deimos suddenly appeared where the others were. His eyes were wide and he was shaking. The imp looked around cautiously and asked, "Is... Is Kinar here?"
Keldar stared at him with some concern, "What happened Deimos?"
Deimos stopped shaking. "What happened? WHAT HAPPENED!?!" Deimos said, his voice suddenly going very high pitched and whiny. "Kinar put a VENGEANCE spell on me!!! A veangance spell! For a poke he barely felt!" Deimos went on faster and faster, "It was torture! Pure torment! Is he insane! Just because he has to hide from the sun like a vampire doesn't mean he has to take it out on me! What is his problem, is he insane! Not even your father would do that to me! Honestly, he's worse tha-"
"My father?" Keldar interrupted
Deimos froze. "What?" He said.
"Do you know who my father is?" Keldar demanded
"Your father? Oh, um... I meant..." Deimos paused to look around. "The... Bunny... Over there..." Deimos let out an unexpected giggle, "Wow... Everything is so-" Deimos abruptly stopped and collapsed in a heap.
OOC:
Lol, Poor poor Deimos.
