Apocalypse: Through Mortal Eyes (Anyone)

OoC: Okay this will mark a MAJOR turning point for Krayt. I plan on upgrading him, and downgradng him at the same time....he will be....reborn as a newer better fighter! You may use whoever you want, but please no more then FOUR fighters. (Not including me) I will be using Krayt obviously, his link is in my sig. Lets do this!

BiC:

The figure smiled as he stood there on the moon, watching earth. The blue surface with white clouds, the land jutting out from the ground, the people living on it, he saw it all. However there was one who did not belong here. One who survived the first onslaught, one who would not survive the second. Earth's time in orbit was drawing towards a close, and soon one of its greatest inhabitants would be powerless to stop it.....

Krayt hoisted the mighty beast above his head, showing off the trophy to the townsfolk. The terror of the Forest Dragon was no more! Krayt had slain it and insured the villages safetey! As he walked off, the town cheered at his accomplishment, for he had done them the biggest favor any stranger had ever done.

As Krayt walked down the path in the forest he saw a darkness fading in. It was much too early for sunset, something was going on! Krayt ran down the path to the end of the forest and onto a large grassland area. There in the sky was a huge whirling vortex. Lightning shot out in every direction, thunder could be heard for miles, and everything began to rise from the ground.

This was no storm, this was no twister, this was nothing to do with weather! This was the beggining of the end. Out of the vortex a figure garbed in all black slwoly floated out. His eyes glowed a faint red color, his size was immense and his dark aura was great. He looked down on Krayt and seemed to smile to himself.

"I have found you....the surviving Sytonian! Heh, who would have known Id find you hiding out on such a weak planet!" The figure roared at Krayt.

"You....Your the one who....who..." Krayt was interuppted by the figure again.

"Yes, I am the one who destroyed Sytonia. It was rather easy really, I think I'll even make short work of this planet as well! As we speak a huge meteor shower is heading towards the earth and soon it will destroy this entire planet, upon impact! Of course such a feat requires time....You have exactly four months, two weeks, three days, four hours, five minutes and forty two seconds left to live on this mudball!"

"....You wont get away with this I will stop you!" Krayt yelled. He then froze time and dashed towards the giant as fast as he could. With a great force he thrust his dagger into the figure...

"Ugh....ugh...grrr...AUGH!!" The giant roared as he yanked the dagger right out of his heart.

"Cute, you little magot, you can freeze time! But that wont save you or the billions of others on this planet! I hope you love living amongst the ones who envy you!" The giant said happily.

Krayt felt weird all of a sudden. It was as if his energy was being drawn away....everything from his strength, to his invulnerability was slowly fading away...he felt....weak.

"Im going to go spread the word to the rest of this planets filth! I wish to see how they react to my message of doom....remember Krayt, I Apocalypse did this to you!, Enjoy your life....mortal," Apocalypse addresed at Krayt as he slowly reentered the vortex.....

As light began to return, hope had not. Krayt was now just a boy. A boy armed only with a measily dagger that burned at the touch of the blade. The cuffs that once embbeded his fore arms fell off to the ground, useless. The suit that protected him from heat was now no better then thin layered clothing. Only his dagger remained, it was time to live as a mortal....

Meanwhile Apocalypse spread his news across the globe. Everyone was in terror! Several of Earths greatest fighters decided to get to together and find a way to fend off this monstrocity that had been laid on them.....

Clockshot Jack was busy fighting Dastardly Dave in the jungles of South America.

"Gwahahahaha! Alhazred will be happy now! The amount of gold this crate carries will supply us for decades! Thanks, Clock**** Jackass, for your greatest blunder yet!" Dastardly Dave cried, as he ran off with a crate full of valuable gold and gems. However, unknown to Dave, the box was rigged, with a bomb planted by Jack. The box exploded, causing gold to fly everywhere. "Arghh... I'll get you next time, Jack!" Dave said as he disappeared in to the Time Stream.

Jack walked over to examine the gold, until he was suddenly called forth by Maiora. Netherill was causing a disturbance. Jack, upon hearing this news, walked in to the Time Stream, and was transported to the time and place where this was happening. He searched a while for Netherill. However, he had no luck- They truly found a good hiding spot. "Damn..." Jack said, as he rubbed his face with frustration.

Suddenly, however, he noticed something unusual off in the distance. Maiora did not warn him of this, and this certainly had nothing to do with Netherill. Jack walked towards a small building that was covered in flames.

"Man, this is the end of the world!" yelled a young man. "Yeah, best to make the best out of the time we have left, before Apocalypse destroys us all!" responded a slightly older man. Jack watched as the two men looted the house, and ran off. Jack decided to find out why the world was in this terrible state, and why the world was ending.

The roads seemed long and never ending, the heat seemed to fatigue him much worse then it ever had before, and the pain of sore muscle began to set it. Being a mortal....How did they handle it? How could you go through life feeling like this? Krayt felt as if his whole world was over with, but in a few months it wouldnt even matter....

Apocalypse just did this to torture him, to make him suffer his last few moments! Even if Krayt did somehow manage to get his powers back theres nothing he could do to stop this. A huge meteor shower would soon break earth into a million peices, Krayt just didnt have the power to do anything about it. Even if the danger was somehow avoided theres no telling what else Apocalypse would could come up with. Next time he may just suck earth into a black whole, or make the sun explode like he did on Sytonia, whatever he did Krayt could do nothing.

After several hours Krayt reached the top of the hill. In the distance he managed to make out what appeared to be a farm. Krayt wandered towards it, hoping that shelter would be open for him, but as he approaced it he realized it was being held up. Apparently a group of bandits were taken the end of the world to their advantage.

"Alright boys loot em up! I plan on eatin good the next few months we have left on this rock!" The boss bandit yelled to his crew.

Krayt recognized this man. This was the old leader of the Fire Elementals! The man had a huge scar on his forhead, and his left arm was replaced with what appeared to be a harpoon. The fire elemental turned and saw Krayt.

"Well well well, if it isnt Mr. Hero! I was hopin to meet you again, as you can see I survived that little attack you threw at me!" He said.

"I think you have me confused with someone else" Krayt lied, hoping he would believe him.

"No I know its you! and this time you will have no canyon to throw me in! Okay boys stand back! Its about to get a little hot..." The fire elemental said as his hand began to charge up with a huge fireball.

The last thing Krayt saw before the ball hit him was the menacing laughing of the bandits. The end of the world was coming, evil was taking its last toll. Krayt only hoped there were some other do gooders left, because it looked as if his time was done. As Krayt lay on the ground his eyes finally shut......

OoC: Alright, I'm in I'll be using Raiku, this'll be quite interesting. I had quite an idea about this RP, and how the worlds end can be put to its end Yes, that does sound confusing doesn't it?

From after so happening to be around at the time, Raiku noticed a most disturbing confusion amidst the world. As those who sought to spare their lives dashed around in a frenzy, although it so seemed that they knew inside there was no hope.

Raiku, on the other hand, was completely confused.

Okay, this is just frieky...in a retarded way... Raiku thought, as his constant glares were at others' movements, as he made his way out of the horde of confusion, out into a more...open...place, Where am I supposed to go now? This is just boring...but at least I'm away from...

Hearing a distinct call in the distance being interjected into his thoughts, Raiku started to run as fast as his legs would let him, That's it, I'm just not even going to think about it. That always happens.

Stopping after a few good dozen minutes, he attempted to catch his breath, and after not long from collecting his energy, he stared around.

Okay...where am I?

Surrounded by vast and tall menacing trees of a thickened black forest, he could have sworn the sound of cackling lightning was reaching his ears, Oh how nice, a thunderstorm is coming on.

Cloaking his head with the hood from the back of his shirt, Raiku dug his hands down into his pockets as he started walking forward, until he noticed something wasn't right.

His hands slowly lowered to the drawing of his knives, I was in need of a good fight...bring it on...

OoC: Okay yeah I noticed I didn't get anywhere near your two's characters, but I'm sure they'll meet up :XD I can't wait to get into a fight, it's been ages since I've actually had a nice fight using Raiku. The last proper RP I did with him was a few months ago with a friend :XD He beat the **** out of a girl who used fire!

Jack was walking along the old trails. "Man..." he said as he walked through the area. "This looks worse than that dustbowl I had to deal with, back when I was young..." he said. He continued to walk, until he spotted an old farm off in the distance. The two looters he saw earlier were heading towards the farm. "Now, what could a couple of varmints be wanting with that old farm?"

Jack approached the farm, only to see a boy being surrounded by the bandits. "Hmm... Well, it might be part of Maiora's mission, but I guess I could help... Jack said, as he slowly walked closer to the group of bandits.


"Alrighty... This looks like a good spot..." he said, as he pulled out both of his revolvers. He listened carefully to one of the speaking bandits. "Uh-huh, this guy's gonna get a propper whoopin'." the bandit said. However, right as they started to harm the unconcious boy, bullet shots could be heard throughout the area. Jack started rapidly firing at the group.

There was mass confusion and chaos. "Uhh, I'm hurt!" or "Ugh... I'm dying..." or "What the hell? Is that a cowboy?" or other such shouts could be heard from the bandits. Jack didn't stop shooting until all of the bandits surrounding the man were dead. Only the leader and a few other bandits remained. They retreated in to the old barn, where all the supplies were kept.

Jack walked over to aid the unconcious boy.

There was a sudden flash of light as a sudden shot of wind firing out as both clashed at Raiku as hs shielded himself as his eyes narrowed.

What the hell!?

The wind grew merely stronger and more violent, and Raiku felt his feet begin to move from their position, and instead of moving backwards, they were moving forwards, and not by his own free will. He felt one of his knives fly out of his hands, as an expression of surprise crossed his face as he watched his knife fly off into the beaming light infront of him, and vanish.

No!! God damn it!! ****, ****, ****!!

Quickly sheathing his remaining one to make sure the same didn't occur for it, he tried to pull himself backwards. It was then suddenly he saw the outline of a figure, amidst the light. As Raiku got closer, he noticed his knife had stuck directly into this person's back, or if it even was a person.

The movement of the figure's arm pulled the knife from out of its back. Then, almost as a flash of light, Raiku felt a sharp pain in his leg as he looked down to find his own knife dug in his leg.

Ungh...that was freaking fast...I didn't even see him...if it is a he...throw it.

He pulled the knife out of his leg returning it to his sheath. Then he noticed the figure turn to face him, who was a good two dozen meters away. The air suddenly became incredibly high pressured, and Raiku's head felt as if it was being compressed so harshly, he had to cling his hands to his head.

Argh!! What the hell!?!

Forcing his eyes tightly shut as he winced from the pain, he barred his teeth, as following he forced himself to look up, until it was the last thing he saw was a huge flash of light, and hearing a voice in his head, Foolish one. You've seen some things you shouldn't have. Have a nice trip somewhere else.

The light stopped, the wind stopped, the pressure was no more. He opened his eyes to find himself somewhere else.

Releasing his hands from his head, he stood up.

A...a farm?

"Krayt....you are mortal now....." A voice rang. Krayt looked around, and saw nothing but white surrounding him. As he winced closer he saw a figure walking slowly out of the light....it was his father!

"Krayt, you are no longer one of us, in fact you are no longer part of this world....you are dead...just as I" Krayts father shockingly revealed.

Krayt was in shock as well! He was dead. Apparently that blast from the rogue elemental had killed him. Suddenly the whiteness that surrouned him began to fade into a village....it was Sytonia! His home, his family, his friends they were all alive!

"Father....I...I dont know what to say! My home is back, everything I lost is here!" Krayt yelled happily.

"Yes, your friends, your home, and even your deceased mother is here. Would you like to meet her? She died right when she gave birth to you, she has been waiting a long time to meet you Krayt, best not keep her waiting!" Krayts father explained.

Krayt walked slowly to his hut. As he walked in, he saw her. She was so beautiful, just as Krayt imagined her to be. Krayt was filled with a happiness he had not felt in a long long time.

"Hello son, Im not really sure what I should say, but words can only express how much I love you...and how proud of you I am..." Krayts mother whispered as tears slowly rolled out of her eyes.

"....Proud of me?" Krayt said questionably.

"Yes....you risked your life for the planet earth, and now you know what killed us. What destroyed your planet and brought it here to the after life with us, but...you dont belong here....not yet..."

"....Not yet?!"

"No my son....your destiny does not lie here....not yet....you know your life after your death now, but unfortunately that doesnt even matter no more. You will be brought back to life soon, but please, do not die again! For if you do...not only will earth be doomed, you will be cast to the dark realm beyond us. It is a curse that has been laid on you, I cannot break it, your only hope is that you, or someone else saves the earth, only then can it be broken."

Krayt was in shock now. He had finally found what he was looking for this whole time. But now he had to leave it? Krayt suddenly had a reality shock. He now realized that his destiny was to save earth. But how would he do it....how would he do it as a mortal?

" I know what your thinking son." Krayts father said as he walked in.

"No, you will not get your powers back when you are brought back to life, However there may be another way to get them...and more...." His father informed him.

"How? How can I get them back!?" Krayt asked frantically.

"All I am allowed to say is that when you are alive again, trust your allies, for they will lead you to the right ones...." Krayts Father explained.

"Remember son.....We love you!" Krayts mother and father said together as a huge white light engulfed Krayt.

He suddenly woke up and looked around. His skin was charred, his suit was burnt, and his body ached all over. He slowly stood up and looked around. As he turned around he saw a cowboy who was in shock.

"Oy! I thought for sure you were dead mate!" The cowboy said is a surprised tone.

".....I was....But thats not important right now, what is going on?" Krayt asked.

Just as Krayt finished his sentence, a huge explosion gave off at the barn. The Fire elemental and his goons walked out carrying large boxes, and loading them up in a wagon that arrived out of nowhere.

"Guess those thievan varmonts don'know when to quit ey? Guess we betta show em then!" The cowboy said as he twirled his revolvers. Krayt picked up his dagger and readied himself to attack.....

For a split second, Raiku flinched slightly as a loud booming explosion could be heard from not far away, as he moved his hands over his ears for merely half a second before nearing them to his sheaths around his legs.

What the?...

Taking a few steps forward, Raiku realised there was more than himself here, as he noticed some sort of "cowboy" looking people nearby. His swift steps turned into a slight run as he made his way forward, until he stopped to get a better look at what was going on.

Ooookay....where the HECK am I?!

OoC: Sorry for the short post ^_^; Nothing much to write right now.

OoC: ... I hope it's ok if I join...

It had been several days seince Twilight had left his home. He had no purpose there, there was no one left for him, his mother had been murdered when he was only seven, and his father had recentaly died of a fatal deises. The only thing he brought with him was the blade his father had given him, he needed no money, and could go months without food. Twilight kept to the shadows, he wasn't sure if he was in the mountains, or at sea level, everything seemed to look the same. He took caution for the sun would be even more powerful up high in the mountains than it would be at sea level.

Suddenly, he heard a loud explosion not to far off in the distance. He scanned the area for all of the shadows large enough to shade him as he made his way to the area of which he thought the explosion had come. Deftly, he lept from shadow to shadow, careful to not lose his balance and fall into the sunlight.

Finally he found himself in the presence of at least three other people. Apparentally a fight was going on, or starting anyways. He stood bak under the shadow of a large tree, not sure whether he should bring out his sword or not. He was never really sure of whose side to be loyal to, for he was born with that dilemma. These, or at least some of them, were defintally human or looked to be, which Twilight owes half of himself to.

OoC: Sure .Tyler, welcome to the fight!

BiC: The cowboy fired rapidly at the bandits boarding the wagon, but it was still no good. The bandits had just boarded the wagon when a strange kid clothed in forest green came running up.

"HEY STUPID! SHOOT THE HORSES!!" He yelled.

The cowboy took the kids advice and fired at the steeds. The first horse fell to its knees, paralyzed from the blow, while the other one tried to run in fear. However the wagon got toppled over and the bandits were apparently squished under the debris...

Krayt lowered his blade and took a long breath, however it was soon interrupted by another loud explosion! The Fire Elemental stepped out of the burning carraige and looked angrily at Krayt, the Kid, and the Cowboy.

"THATS IT!! NOW YOUVE REALLY TICKED ME OFF!! PREPARE TO BE BURNT TO A....." The elemental stopped dead in his sentence and fell to the ground, dead. Stuck in his back was an awesome silver sword, glowing in the sunset.

From out of the shadows stepped another young boy, into the now darkening light. He walked over to the dead Elemental and pulled his sword out of his back, retracting it into its sheathe. He then walked over slowly towards Krayt and the rest.

"....So...who are you guys?" Krayt asked.

"The names Clockshot Jack partner" The cowboy said.

"Call me Raiku, punk." The forest boy said.

"......Twilight..." The younger boy said.

" My name is Krayt, so whats you guy's story?" Krayt asked.....

OoC: Hey .Tyler. Welcome

With a smirk, Raiku merely mocked the boy who stood before him questioning.
"And why would you care?" he questioned, "You look like some stupid little emo boy. No offense." Raiku added with a haughty laugh.

After finishing his little humor session Raiku decided to get a few answers about what was going on in this strange world around him, "Alright, I'm wondering now, what the hell his going on around here? People are acting like freaking fools, and nowadays all I see around here are..." peering up at Clockshot Jack, Raiku added, "All I see around here are...Cowboy freaks."

"But enough about that...answer my question." Raiku insisted, "Oh, and do you mind if I call you emo kid?"

He proceeded to let out more laughs. By the look on Kyrat's face he could tell he was not the type for jokes, neither anyone else present. But that made it all the better, serious people always made his sarcasm to him more fun. At least it did most of the time.

Twilight looked the other way. He didn't see anything funny, in anything the two had said. He looked slightly up towards the sky, it was sunset now. The best time of the day. His black heart began beating faster now, the fading sun seemed to make him unable to stand in one place.

"Where.... are we exactly?" he asked. He had been pondering that with himself for some time now.

Then, he sharply looked over at Raiku, "what's so funny?" he asked sharply.

Twilight unsheathed his sword, there was still blood from the thing he had killed, he wiped it clean on the front of his pants, leaving a dark red stain of blood on them. He retracted it into his sheathe, and waited impatientally for the respones of the two questions he asked.

"Okay heres the lowdown...." Krayt explained what had happened to his homeworld, and what was going to happen to this world if nothing were done. He also told them of Apocalypse, the villain who sought the destruction of earth, and of the impending meteor shower soon to hit.

Clockshot and Twilight stood there silenced, which was soon broken by Raiku.

"Wait a minute, your telling me the world is ending because of some weirdo who enjoys destroying planets? Jeez how much liquor have you been drinking kid?"

"Now is not the time for your trivial sarcasm forest boy! The world is going to end in half a year, there has to be some way of stopping it! I know of a way.....but I believe only you guys would know, as odd as this may sound." Krayt explained.

"Er, Im with the tree kid on this one mate, you sure you havent been gulpin from a flask?" Clockshot asked suprisingly serious.

"No.....He is right....The world is ending....However what we do about it is beyond me...." Twilight added to the conversation.

"Look I think we should......." Krayt stopped in his sentence, it was as if he was having a vision...

"Krayt this is your father speaking, I know of a way too get SOME of your power back....However your going to need help to get there, Far to the south is a temple, it is an old ritual temple used to speak to the heavens, it is also an area where the heavens grant the mortals their requests, however your going to have to fullfill its wishes before I can help you....I can no longer give you any advice, just hurry to the temple, I can explain more their....."

"OY!! Wake up!" Clockshot yelled, snapping his fingers in Krayts face. Krayt shook his head and looked around. It looked as if their first chance for savin the world was givin to them.

"Guys, were going south, whos in?" Krayt asked.....

OoC: Well, apparentally, Cass is trying to set some stupid personal record for not logging out. ">_>

BiC:

Twilight didn't really have a choice whether he wanted to come with the person or not. Perhaps this world coming to an end thing could have something to do with the war of his past, and present. He also, probably, couldn't stand in one spot any much longer. He nodded at Krayt, "I am 'in'". Suddenly his dark purple eyes just seemed to turn a little orange, they would be red by nightfall, revealing Twilight's father's side, his vampire side.

He was probably oblivious to what he was most likely getting himself into, the thing he was trying to avoid. He had no intention what-so-ever to get caught up in other people's issues, whether the world was coming to an end or not, it didn't concern him, at least he thinks it doesn't. His current state of mind gave him almost complete control physically, but him father's blood is still in him, and he can only control little things that go on inside his head. This is one of the things that he has yet to master.

Crows and other birds perched themselves on the sorrounding trees, chirping and nipping at each other for the last few bugs and mice. A small squall kept the air around them alive and cool.

OoC: Not a lot to do... tried to strach it out as far as possible.

OoC: Okay, since my character is being used while I'm away I'm finding it hard to think of things to write, sorry X( My posts might not be very long.

Raiku snickered, "You're all so stupid. The world is NOT going to end. It's just some retard who thinks it's funny to play a practical joke. I mean...how many times have people been going around saying the worlds going to end? And besides, even if it did, it's not my world, you can't expect me to do something about it."

As the sky darkened, Raiku knew nightfall would approach soon, and he'd have to be cautious. He didn't trust these guys in the slightest. Already he felt towered over, being short and all.

Turning to Twilight, Raiku snapped back, "Shut up, you. Obviously you've not got some sort of humor. Hehe, well doesn't that make everything so much funner?"

And following that comment, he replied to Clockshot, "Call me tree "KID" again, and you'll regret it."

Attempting to collect all his thoughts, Raiku wondered if he'd just go along for the hell of it, besides, he didn't have anything else to do at the moment, and the people around him seemed to take all his comments serious enough. That was what he thought was funny.

"Alright, Alright. I'll go with you, but don't expect anything big. I'm just going along for the hell of it."
