Emotional Ties (A female character)
OoC: Okay, basically this is a kind of quest that takes Jayco to his long-lost brother’s home. It's also to get Jayco a lady friend, if you know what I mean. So if one of your characters think that Jay is appealing...
BiC: A young man traversed the land. He held a spear in his hand. His heart was set, his motions pure. For all the pain he would endure. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jayco said nothing as he walked across a great plain consisting of nothing but grass. The blades of grass were trampled underfoot as his heavy boots force them down, but Jayco did not noticed. He had his heart set on one thing. Finding his brother. It had been quite some time since he had left home now. He usually left his home-land randomly to take quests out into the world. This time he had left his faithful steed, Jefira, behind. He would have to do this alone, without any interruptions. Well, that is what he thought would happen. In the distance Jayco saw lots of small buildings grouped together, almost awaiting his arrival. The young paladin would have to settle down there for the night if he needed any energy for the following day, upon which he would travel to the inner reaches of holodrum. Soon after he was at the doorstep of a bar. Judging by the sign swinging lazily atop the door entrance, it was called "The muddy duck" Without a word Jayco stepped inside. As he did so there was an audible hush from the many people in there. As Jayco walked up to the barman he noticed a female watching him from the corner of his eye. He kept walking up to the bar and smacked his hand down on it, revealing four gold coins he had been holding. "A room for the night. That is all". The barman nodded and dropped the glass he was cleaning. He strode into a room that was behind him, leaving Jayco pretty much alone. He turned around to see the female standing in front of him, a smile on her lips. "Hey there" |

Re: Emotional Ties (A female character)
Ooc: No one else seems to want to do this so i will. Using Jade, link to her in sig.
Bic: Jade watched as a young man, who looked like he needed a rest walk into the inn known as 'The Muddy Duck'. He looked strong and muscular, and was quite tall. Shecouldn't see his eyes, but she was ure he cuaght her watching him as he walked up to the ber. His hair was long, shiny and black, and he was wearing long black trousers and a light brown t-shirt which is ripped in some spots, and he was leaning on a spear, which must havbe been his. Boy he looks cute. Jade thought Shame I cant put on some makeup whithout anyone noticing. Jade! Micralana, the angel that shared her head, said admonishingly Now is not the time to think about things like that. Oh come on Lana, Jade protested You have to admit, he does look cute. And you said we need a break. He does posses some... attractive qualities The angel conceded. Jade nearly laughed, and walked to the bar, "Hey there." she said and he turned to face her. His green eyes looking into hers, just for a moment, sent a charge through her like nothing she had ever felt before. "Hello." he said a little nervous. "What's your name?" The teenage girl asked "Jayco Harrkord." he replied "Now if you'll excuse me I want to go to my room now." "Well... How about I show you?" she asked. When this Jayco person looked at her questioningly she said "I kinda work here part time." And with that she took him upstairs to show him the room right next to hersa that was spare, or if it wasn't then it would be soon. |

Re: Emotional Ties (A female character)
OoC: Lol, I'll reply when I get back from my holiday thing. It's only for two days anyway. ^_^
Edit: I’m back...finally. BiC: Jayco looked questioningly at the woman, but she just smiled and walked up a flight of stairs situated directly to their left. Jayco followed quickly up the steps. As Jayco reached the top floor he noticed that the girl was knocking on one of the doors in the corridor that they were currently in. She waited a few moments and then Jayco heard the unmistakeable sound of someone unlocking the door from the inside. The oaken door swung open to reveal a somewhat frazzled looking man who wore a shabby coat and some baggy brown trousers. He looked questioningly at the girl. "What?" Before he had time to reply she grabbed him by the arm and swung him out of the room. "Your room has been left in an unsatisfactory state, sir. The in management wish you good luck on your journey". The man gave her a very angry look. “My room is perfect, you hear? I paid lots for this ro-" A punch to the head and his whining ceased. There was a soft thud as the man’s unconscious body fell to the timber floor. The girl looked up at Jayco, seemingly pleased with herself. "This is your room, sir". Jayco walked slowly into the room, noting the expression in the girl’s eyes as he brushed past her. He took his travelling bag off of his shoulder and threw it onto the bed, quickly taking off his shirt and settling into the unmade bed. Never mind dinner, I'm not hungry anyway...That girl's made me lose my appetite... |

Re: Emotional Ties (A female character)
Jade shut the door behind the new guest and walked to her room next door with a smile on her face.
You shouldn't have done that Jade. the angel residing in her head scolded "But he is so cute." Jade muttered to herself and closed the door to her room so that no one else could her her converstion with the angel. You'll probably lose your job you know. "Yeah but... you said he possesed some attractive qualities!" Jade protested But not enough to do what you did. came the reply. Jade sat on her bed and then laid down. She would need all the rest she could get, because she would have a busy day tomorrow, to make up for kicking that poor man out of the inn. Ooc: Soory its so short, but i couldn't think of anything else to do. |

Re: Emotional Ties (A female character)
OoC: Quality over quantity.
BiC: Jayco awoke to find his room perfectly cleaned and his things all packed away neatly. He noticed that his shirt was resting on the edge of his bed, folded without a trace of a crease. As if to complete this picture of perfection, the girl who had attacked the man earlier stood in the doorway, holding a tray with eggs and bacon on it. She smiled at Jayco and he raised an eyebrow. "Erm...hello." The girl beamed and set the tray down on a bedside table next to the bed. She stood eagerly at the side, obviously waiting for Jayco to start eating. The warrior found this very unnerving and coughed politely. The girl however did not take the hint and rushed to a drawer located opposite the table. She pulled out one of the draws and brought out a handkerchief, then walked back over to Jayco's bed and gave him the kerchief. Jayco accepted it hastily and whipped his mouth before digging into his food. As he bit down on a piece of bacon he noticed how wonderful it was. He looked back up at the girl who was still looking at him. "Did you make this?" The young woman tilted her head to the side. "Um...Yes. Yes I did." Jayco nodded silently and took another few bites from his fork before deciding that he should start eating faster so he could get dressed and go on his way. He did so and the girl never took her eyes off of him. Eventually he finished and rubbed his hands together. "Well, I need to get changed and go now, but thanks for making me breakfast and...Cleaning this room." The girl nodded rapidly and walked out of the room, closing the door quietly behind her. Jayco jumped out of his bed and pulled the shirt over his head, then grabbed his bag and walked out of the room. The paladin walked down the corridor and then down the stairs, noticing that there was no sign of the girl. Breathing a sigh of relief he almost reached the door when she popped up in front of him. "Hi! Where you going?" Jayco paused for a few moments before answering. "I'm going to another land. It’s very far away." If he had hoped to stop her form following, he failed. The girl standing in the doorway seemed excited about this and smiled; something she had an uncanny knack for doing. "Great! Do you mind if I come with you?" Jayco frowned." All right, but it will be a very dangerous journey and you’ll probably have to take care of my horse. She doesn’t take to strangers very kindly.” The girl nodded eagerly and extended her hand out to him. “Thanks! My name’s Jade!” Jayco looked at her for a moment, and then shook her hand softly. He then walked out of the inn, Jade following closely behind him. |

Re: Emotional Ties (A female character)
Ooc: Sorry this took so long. i just cant seem to do anything lately.
Bic: Jade walked beside the man she had met the other day at the inn. Micralana had been right. That man she had kicked out had complained and she had lost her job. But that was not the reason she was walking beside Jayco. She would never tell anyone, not even the angel in her head the reason for why she was walking beside this man, and why she had so desperately wanted to go with him. Jaycorie Harrkord. That name was music to her ears. Though she hadn’t quite figured out why. She knew she liked him a lot but why? She had never felt this way about someone before, not even her own family. “So where are we going?” Jade asked casually as she could, while trying to get him to look at her properly. She had put on her best makeup this morning and he wasn’t even looking at her! That was so annoying! Looks are not everything Jade the angel admonished They do when your me! was Jade’s reply, and she waited for an answer to her question. |
