A Forest's Way(Kite and DZH)

Prologue: A Forest's Way.
The forest of Yanduush. This forest is said to link from one dimension, or planet to another. Multiple entryways are found in this forest that those who are ill minded and careless, maybe even completely innocent will lose their wau and enter into anothers planet, or dimension. It is said that the forest can sense just who and where the person who enters them needs to see or be taken.

One day Janeen was out walking inside the Dome she noticed a forest, she wasn't planning to go far, but she saw a sign that said
"Caution this is the Forest of Dimensions. Yanduush enter at your own cost."
She thought she may take a look inside, but since she was supposed to stay near the Dome for she was undergoing training. "As intresting as this looks. My trainer would kill me if I got lost in this forest." she said, as if she was bored.

She sat there on a stump And heard a strange noise. "What the heck!" she yelled as she looked over her shoulder noticing a portal opening up. "That may not be good!"

Ooc: Okay I couldn't do much their because I don't plan to have DZH's character used until he posts. So DZH if you could get on it. I think you know what to do next.
Oh and Zanza if you read this. This is supposed to be after Janeen goes unconscious on Lesson 2. Spoiler... No not really I guess. Umm Is? It uhh alright for me to add to the dome considering no one actually described it anyhow. Because I am in training and I can't really do this RP without some questions being answered. Please PM me any Mod or Admin that knows important answers to my questions.

BiC: The Alchemist ran through trees as some officer shot at him. He did not know why they chased him, but they wouldn't listen to him. The Ishvalan Alchemist did not want to die here and now, but he knew if he did not keep running he would...

"Ahhhh!" he screamed as he fell down onto the floor.

He lifted his hand to see a bullet had hit him and was now causing him to bleed. The Ishvalan knew he had to keep running, so he kept running despite the pain, ignoring some sign which made the officers stop. He didn't notice and kept goin until he fell down a steep step, causing him to roll through some underbrush and cutting himself. Before he hit a large tree, some hole opened up and swallowed him.

He awoke on the floor in pain due to his accidents. Will saw a woman looking at him from a stump. She was heavily armored and had glacier eyes. He got up, despite the pain and bleeding hat went on, and went up to her.

"Is there a hospital or something nearby? I need to get a bullet removed," he said, showing her the wound caused by the officers.

Ooc:Umm his arm is auto-mail. How does it bleed.

"Is there a hospital or something nearby? I need to get a bullet removed from my arm," he said, showing her the wound caused by the officers.

"A hospital?" she answered, "I do not have a clue what you are talking about?"
She gave him a face like he was crazy. "I can clearly see that you have been badly wounded. I know of a person right in this village, but promise me you will not look at her like she is nuts."

"I promise, just get me to her!" he yelled back.

"Okay but she is really nuts." she added.

She took him to the woman, wondering what his name was and why he came out of that forest, but she was distracted by a sudden crackle of lightning.

"Oh shoot!" the boy said, "You need to get me their before it rains."

"Why?" she asked, "Its not like your metal or made of mechanics."

Ooc:Forgive me if I messed that up a bit, I am new at the whole RPing thing. The only RPing I have done is wanna-be RPing on an online game. Do forgive me.

OoC: Automail isn't ruined nor does it shortcircuit when it rains, but I would see how rain would fit in.

BiC: The alchemist began to try and run, but the searing pain kept him from moving. The girl helped him up and hurried him off into the village, until a crack was heard. A gun was fired off of the distance and there stood an officer. He held the gun and waved a hand, causing more people to come over.

"By the order of the State, you are under arrest Will!" one officer shouted.
"What the hell's your problem?!" the alchemist shouted, showing them his watch, "I'm a nationally certified alchemist! Why am I being arrested?"

"We don't need to tell you Ishvalan slime!" another officer shouted.
"Racists...," he whispered, "I see you are still in the military, so I'll weed you out!"

Will broke himself away from the girl as a gun aimed at him and fired. He blocked it with his arm and clapped his hands. When he placed them on the ground, a hole opened and the officers fell in. Another clap caused some trees to fall ontop of th ehole, trapping them in there. He returned to the girl.

"Let's go while they're still trapped!" he shouted.

The rain began to fall and it made his wounds, especially the bullet wound, sting. A flash of lightning reminded him to check his shirt to see that it was fine. He sighed as they got closer to the village.

Ooc: Confused. Isn't automail metal. Couldn't it rust? Oh and how does his arm bleed if it is automail?

Bic: "So who are you and why were those guys chasing you?" she asked seeming freightened of his strange powers.

"They are racists," he replied. "Scum that think only about themselves, not other countries.I am one a State Alchemist. Central, they call their headquarters."

"Central?" she wondered. "I don't recall ever hearing of a place called Central. Unless you are refering to Central City Brandera, which is a mechanical castle."

As they got to the village and entered the slums. Two men came out wrestling to the death. One man, a guy in a navy blue shirt and pants, also wearing badges, with short black hair and what seemed to be white gloves, with a magic symbol on them, then pulled out a gun and yelled. "Where is he!" Pointing the gun at the man's head.

Janeen then took action.
"Stop! What are you doing to this man?!" she yelled in a rage, as she put her shield in front of the gun, just before he shot it.

Will disguised himself after running behind a building and putting a disguise on.

Ooc: I don't suppose you know who this "black haired, white gloves with a magic symbol man" may be do you DZH, lol. Take it away.

OoC: Will is still part of the military. He did not quit, but he left on his own journey, but you picked up that they want him for that reason... or do they? I fixed the bullet wound by the way. It's not in the arm any longer.

BiC: Will covered himself with a cloak or two and made sure to carefully cover the bullet wound. The rain fell pretty quickly on the village. He got close to the girl and pretended to be an old man.

"Please miss," the black haired man said, I'm conducting an investigation!"
"Killing is not an investigation!" the girl shouted back.
"I'm sorry, but I've been a little anxious to capture this one. Have you seen an alchemist around here?" the man said.

Will was shocked as he recognized not only the symbol on his glove, but the watch in his pocket. The Ishvalan Alchemist knew who this was, but he needed to stay low.

"What did this, alchemist you called him, so?" Will said in a low voice.
"He didn't necessarily violate any orders, but he was told to return to Central," the man said.
"And what if he didn't?" Will asked.
"He'd be killed. That was the order of the Parliament," the man returned.
"Mustang, you aren't going anywhere," Will said as he put his hand on the ground, trapping the man's legs with some earth vines.

Mustang pointed his gun at Will, but the girl kicked it away. However, the colonel had a secondary plan as he got ready to... snap?

"It won't work!" Will shouted, "It's raining. The sparks will be out out. Good day, Flame Alchemist."

Will and the girl kept going towards a hospital as the colonel fumed over his embarrassing loss against...

"Renegade... just like him..." he whispered as the rain let up.

The two walked past several buildings quickly. Will hoped this girl wouldn't turn him into the authorities of the State. Something hit him quickly, though.

"Brandera?" the alchemist asked.
"You mean the mechanical castle?" the girl replied.
"There's no such thing! I know of only one Central named Central City in the middle of the State," Will explained, "Who taught you that lie?"

Before the girl could answer, an explosion occured some way behind the two. The hospital had been in their sights, but now that changed as th eFlame Alchemist readied an attack closer to them. That explosion!, Will thought, It's the one from Ishbal!

Ooc:I changed the part where I had messed up.

Ignoring his statement, she yelled, "Lie! Why would I lie to you? I am not one of those supposed State Alchemists. I don't even know what a State Alchemist is."

"Wait!? When you were going through the forest. Did you notice a change in the tides of wind suddenly?

Then she got pelted with a piece of shrapnel in the right leg.

She screamed. "Ahhh! It is in deep, I can not get it out.!"

The black haired alchemist came up to her. "You are with him?"

She looked frightened as he put his hand up ready to snap his fingers.

"Stop!" Will yelled.


Ooc:Your up next.

"What are you doing?" the girl shouted at Will.
"Mustang, I was being chased down here," Will explained to the colonel, "They claimed to be racists. Why does Parliament want me in Central? I was heading there until they chased me down here."

"So you knew the State Alchemist Qualification Exam was today and headed back, but officers assaulted you, causing this mess?" he said pointing at the street that Mustang disturbed with his alchemy.

"Yes. I may still have a grudge against you for blowing up my home city, but I heard you reedemed that. We can settle this another time, but I have to go to a hospital and so does she," he said, pointing at the item that was launched into her leg.

"I see, I see. Carry on, but tomorrow, you are to report her so we may find a way back," Mustang ordered.

"Find a way back? What do you mean?" he asked.
"It seems that this place is not part of anything related to alchemy. When I was following the tracks you made, there was a change in the wind," the Flame Alchemist explained.

The girl gasped as she heard that.

"What's wrong?" the Ishvalan Alchemist asked her.

OoC: Interesting. It had me confused at first.

BiC:
"The change in the wind," she said. "I have studdied portals before. You came through that forest am I correct."

"Yes," Mustang responded. "Why?"

"You passed through a portal. If you are here than that means Will passed through one also," she responed.

"So we fell through a portal," Will said.

"Yes, when you came through that forest. There must be a way to get you back. I will see what I can do talking to the high priests of the city, Brandera. As for now I need to see that woman about our wounds." she replied.

"Very well," the colonel said, "Riza Hawkeye and I will meet you her at this time tomorrow."

"Okay. Now, where is this woman's place?" Will asked.

The girl and Will walked thorughout the village looking for her. People instantly freaked out about the blood coming from the girl's leg and the alchemist's blood stained shirt. They had finally made it to another slum of the village. THe girl knocked on the door.

"Just a minute," a voice inside said.

"So, what's in this mechanical castel named Brandera? All that is in Central is usually a bunch of alchemists, some murderers, and stories," Will asked.

The girl seemed to be contemplating something. Probably wondering about the dark skin or what alchemy is, he thought, I just hope she doesn't ask me about my family. That'll be hard to explain.

However, the girl could not ask because the door opened and along with a gasp and...

"Why is there blood on my floor?!" she yelled.

OoC: Just to remind you of before. The woman is crazy.

"Why is there blood on my floor!" she yelled.

"Mam I need your medical skills again, and your sewing skills," Janeen said to the woman.

"What did you do this time?" the woman asked. "I will get the things. Who is this fine
young man? Does someone have a boyfriend?"

Janeen coughed and laughed, studdering due to the wound on her leg.

"No!" she yelled. "We only just met. Now about the wound. I got hit by a piece of shrapnel it is in my leg."

She went into a seperate room. While Will went into another.
The woman took care of Will's wound before handling Jan's, his was a bullet it is more leathal. The woman then went into the room Janeen was in. Jan pulled her pant leg up to reveal the sharp piece of metal. It was in her leg up above the knee.

"So how did this happen?" the woman asked.

"It was a fight, an explosion actually. The piece of metal flew into my leg," she replied

"Agh!" she yelled as the woman pulled it out.

The woman took the piece of metal and through it into a scrap heep outside of the house, then she took some antibiotics and put them on the cut.

OoC: Specify what happened during Will's moment of healing. Your next.

The old woman led him through the house as he clutched the wound, realizing once again that there really was a wound. It had become more and more intense. This supposed medic opened another door and ordered him to sit on the chair. She went to the other side of the room and opened a simple, makeshift drawer that seemed to fall apart any second. He took this chance to get his surroundings. The light came from a mere candle, signifying old times, but there was some sort of mechanical device next to it that generated fresh air. I guess she really is crazy!, the alchemist thought severely.

"So, why are you with Janeen?" the old woman asked.

"Who's that?" the Ishvalan asked immediately.

"The lady you were with," she explained, "So, what brings you here?"

The old lady turned around and eyed him. She put on a light blue mask that covered the lower section of her face, like she was op... e... ra... ting... A shine eminated from her right hand and the Ishvalan gulped.

"It's time to see the wound," she said, asking him to reveal it.

The bullet had gone in pretty far, but not far enough to cause permanent damage, according to the crazy old lady. She turned back to the drawer and brought out some sharp impliments.

"Let's start!" she shouted, holding a knife.

"No antibiotics to numb the pain?" the alchemist wimpered.

"That doesn't make sense!" she said with a large smile.

"I should've left for Central ten minutes ago," he muttered.

"What was that?" she said, followed by a nothing.

The lady neared him and whispered to him, like some crazy, decaying old lady was speaking to a little boy about a cold hearted ward.

"So, do you like her?" she said.

"She is nice," he started, "but-"

A large yell was thrown around the room as the bullet was removed. A bloody hand held it.

"See? Quick and painless!" the crazy lady shouted.

"Painless!" he complained, "I felt that as much as I felt it when it entered!"

Soon, many curses flew towards this crazy lady who cleaned her own hand and brought forth antibiotics. She quickly cleaned the wound and the area around it and bandaged it. I look like that Ishvalan criminal from many years ago. Scar, was it? I'm missing the glasses, Will thought as she left. Quickly, he fell asleep and heard a small voice in his head.

"Your problems have just begun Ishvalan Alchemist!" it said.

OoC: Okay that sounded really funny, lol. Darn ladybugs here in NY are getting annoying.

BiC:

Janeen was in the other room, she was waiting for Will, though she never actually caught his name.

"Where is the man I came in here with?" she asked.

"He passed out when I took the bullet out of him, he will be out of it for a bit, as for you deary, you should get some rest, you can take the guest room," the old woman replied.

"Wierd, he seems so strong, yet a bullet bieng taken out hurts that badly," she said in a confused manner.

"Are all the plans set? We can not let them escape," a voice spoke.

"Don't worry about it, everything will be fine," a figure grabbed Will picking him up, as another figure took Janeen after putting a sleeping substance down her throat.

Mumbling could be heard in the basement, an old woman was tied up to a pipe, coming from the cieling of the basement. It was slowly flooding due to the immense downpore.

After fallowing their tracks, Mustang found a small house where their tracks had ended.
He then slammed through the door as he had realized what was going on with the girl's wound, he did not hit any metal, the shrapnel came from something else. He heard a muffled sound coming from the basement, he went down to see what it was, he then saw an old lady, he broke her free of her bonds and took her up the stairs.

OoC: I don't suppose you know who the intruders were. Hint: What is a failed human transmutation? If you can't figure it out, either the world is doomed or just PM me, lol. Your next.

OoC: What ladybugs? I'm dealin' with roach invasion here! Also, I should know what it is. I used it in Will's profile, as you can read.

BiC: The colonel sat her down onto a chair and brought her some water. This usually wasn't something he would do, but he tried a claming voice, but it came out like an order. This scared the old woman immensely and kept her quiet. So, the Flame Alchemist brought in his first lieutenant, Hawkeye.

"Alright miss, I know the colonel can be frightening," she said.

"Hey! I'm not frightening!" Mustang shouted, "Just too influential..."

"Anyway, where are the two who were supposed to stay here?" Hawkeye asked.

"I fixed them up!" the old lady said with a large smile.

"We know. Where are they?" the lieutenant asked again.

"They are fit for each other. I bet they'd get married," she said.

"For alchemy's sake, where are they woman?!", Mustang shouted.

"Guest room," she said with an even larger smile.

In less than a second, the guest door was busted down and dust flew everywhere. Hawkeye raised her pistol and waved it around. A figure stood there, holding the young girl the Flame Alchemist saw before.

"Unhand that lady!" he said, snapping his fingers.

An explosion was triggered behind the figure, releasing the girl into Hawkeye's arms, with the pistol still ready to fire. The figure poised for attack, but another figure came frome behind.

"Leave the girl! We have him," the second figure said.

"But sir!" the first interjected.

"We have all we need! The Ishvalan Alchemist gives us the key!" the second shouted, showing Will unconscious.

"No!" Mustang yelled as a gunshot was fired, dropping Will.
