I would enter, but when i do something like on christmas it is either THE WORST THING EVER, or it is brilliant. So i think i will stick to judging, i guarentee i will not be biased, because not many people no who i am anyway, i disapeered for the longest time
Hey, I'll join! I'll have more time to draw too (abit) because school is almost over! (4 more days... *drools*) What I mean by joining is, I'll participate! This'll give me something to draw and keep me occupied...
will the contest be split up into slkill levels
so when they enter the pics, they decide the skill level, then rank em in those levels either like 2 or 3 levels perhaps.. if so, I'd join, and if not, u still need judges Im in jus explain my job... if neither, ok I'll watch...
Originally posted by SearanoX Peefy explained it well, but I can do better. Before we had 3-D graphics, we would use 2-D pictures known as sprites. These are still used, but they aren't nearly as integral right now. The disadvantages with sprites were that you couldn't attain a huge level of detail (though there are some very nice sprites out there, like in Seiken Densetsu 3), and for each time it moved, you would have to essentially draw a new sprite. Now, with 3-D models, we can simply apply a skeleton to the model and use that to move the model, or use motion capture to make the model move.
Hope that answeres your question.
Just kidding ^_^ Nice way to put it. *throws sthe norwegian language into the wall*
Anyway, I might be with on this (probably with some dull srpite or something, maybe a drawing if I'm lucky, but if so, I have to do it before Friday =\
