Chapter Thirteen
Zelda Universe: Fan Library; 2013

"Sage of Ice?" said DD.
"Who?" said Spiff.
"Who's that?" said hab.
"I don't remember you...." said Leo.
"Wait, weren't you the one who....no, that was someone else." said GD.
SofI stared at them.
"Ok then...Well, it doesn't really matter if you remember me or not. I was here when this all happened." he said.
They looked at him.
"You've been sitting there all these years?" said GD.
"What? Oh. No, I've gotten up and moved around, like you guys." he said.
"Ohhh." they said together.
"Well, when did it all happen?" said Spiff.
"Umm... that kind of depends. What year is it now?"
"It's 2013, about January. And I know what year this happened. And about what season. It happened in the fall of 2010, didn't it?"
"Well, yeah, I think so. Right about Halloween, I think. I remember because in prison they gave us a bit of leftover Halloween candy that no one ate. It was the gross kind, too..." he said. He then made a face, as if remembering the rancid candies.
"Prisons?" said DD. "What prisons?"
"Wait, you mean you didn't know about the prisons? I'd've thought that even GD knew about the prisons."
The others looked at GD.
"Umm.....I don't know anything about any prisons....." she said slowly. She then kicked SofI, and his kness buckled, so he fell.
"Well, kicking me isn't going to cover up your lies." he said, somewhat oddly. He then stuck his tongue out at her. She kicked him again. He winced in pain, but laughed a bit.
"GD, you knew that this place had prisons?" they said.
"Well, I told you guys before!" she said, telling the truth.
"What, you mean about those times....? We thought you were makig that up!" they said.
"Well, I guess I wasn't, huh?" she said, making a face.
"Ok then. Lead the way!" they said.
So they left to go to the dungeon/prisons, and as they were about to leave, SofI called out "Hey! Wait for me!" He then tried to get up, but he couldn't do it so well, because his arms were in a straight jacket.
"Oh, sorry." said Leo. "Need one of us to help you?"
"No, I've been doing this for over three years. I'll get it sooner or later." he said, semi struggling to stand up. Eventrually, he pulled himself up by leaning against the wall standing up with his knees, which was a somewhat funny sight to see. They laughed. He stared at them.
"Oh, sorry." they said. "Want us to cut that off you?"
"No, that won't be nessiccary, but thanks anyways." he said. They then went through the art corridor, and out into the staircase area.

Chapter Fourteen

Zelda Universe
January, 2013

The ZUer's left the Art Corridor and went down the ZU Staircase.
"So, GD, SofI." said Spiff. "Where are these ZU Prisons, and why didn't we know about them?"
"The admin/mods went to great lengths to hide them, but didn't want to make it seem like a conspiracy, so they refered to it as being banned." said SofI.
"The prisons were also right under our noses." said GD. "Many people almost found them on many occasions."
After leaving the staircase, they walked outside, under the guidence on SofI and GD.
"Does it even work to get down there anymore?" asked GD.
"Yeah." said SofI. "I was down there when all of this happened, and I obviously got out, so yeah."
They stopped right near the snowy steps that lead into ZU.
"What are we looking for?" asked hab.
"You'll see." said SofI. "Now, where is it?" He was looking in the bushes. After looking around for a while, he exclaimed "AHA!". Out of the bushes he kicked the head of one of the stone gargoyles that had stood guard outside ZU. It was half covered in snow/ice.
"GD, would you do the honors?" said SofI.
GD picked up the stone head, and stuck her fingers far up the gargoyle's nose, until she felt a click and heard a beep.
The earth shifted slightly, and the wreckage of the statues lifted up about 6 inches from the ground, and slowly slid across the snow courtyard, due to design and the thick layer of snowy ice, and several years of weeds and wild grasses. After about a minute and a half, the whole thing hit the flagpole, and stopped.
Steam came out from the hole that had opened up from underneath the statues, and there was an odd smell. Not of death, but it was still stale.
"Well, this is it." said SofI. "Welcome to the ZU Prisons."

Wow I let this go south...I must say...now, I don't really like the setting, but still like the plot. Oh well. Guess I better keep going, if I still remember what was going to happen...oh yeah....

Chapter Fifteen
Zelda Universe;Courtyard;Secret Prisons
January 2013

The six ZUers walked down the dark, steamy opening that appeared in the courtyard. They other five were wondering if they could trust SofI. After all, he was in a straight jacket. What could that mean?
"Well" said SofI, speaking up, his voice echoing, even though they hadn't gone that far in. "It would appear that this place is still fairly well lit, thanks to some short curcuiting and some rotting that has let light in. But still, watch your step. These prisons are pretty big, and while I think I'm the sole survivor, there may still be some people more dangereous than me down here."
The other five stared at each other. SofI turned around and looked at them.
"What? Do you not trust me? I've been here by myself for several years, and so far I haven't run into anything that didn't die pretty soon afterwords."
"What do you mean die soon afterwords?" asked Spiff.
"Well, think about it: Obviously, there were survivors besides myself, but they didn't live long afterwords. Be it the elements, be it stronger people, whatever, they didn't survive a month after the attack. Well, one did, but he died by his own hands."
"Wait, so others survived, but other survivors killed eachother off?" asked DD. "Why?"
"That, I'm not exactly sure of." said SofI hesitently. "You think I'd've learned it all from being here all these years, but I've only learned so much. My theory is that the survivors were infected with a bizarre type of virus or poison, or could have been driven insane, or realized that they needed more supplies, but with all those people around, they couldn't have them."
As they walked around the prisons, they saw several cells, some of which had some bodies in there, which were somewhat perserved, but some were bones.
"Hey SofI." said Leo, looking at the bones. "Why are there some bones, yet there are mostly perserved bodies?"
"Well, for some reason, the bodies didn't rot, but stayed perfectly perserved. A little pale, but no stench of a rotting corpse. May've been something to do with the bombs, so the world could see our downfall. Anyways, we in the prisons couldn't find any more food, since it took us about 2 weeks to find our way out, and we'd only enough supplies for about 5 days, so by day 10 we were starving and dehydrated, and there were those bodies there, perserved, so..."
"YOU ATE THEM?!" they said. "Sick..." said they guys, except for GD, who said "Cool! I mean....eww...."
"Oh no. I didn't eat them. That explains why I'm so thin, among other things. Anyways, after making it out, there were only a few of us, and they were all dead but me and this one other guy but the end of the month. We lived there for a while, but it grew so cold, and we were starving, since the other guy had also decided not to eat the bodies of our fellow members, out of respect. Well, we couldn't find any food, and had been living off snow and ice, but he was in bad condition. Sometimes he would lose sanity, as the others had before they died, but as time went on, he realized that his death would be quick and painless, so one day, he couldn't live with it, so he decided to kill himself by hanging himself in the Stairs area. It took about a year or so for the ropes to rot, since I couldn't reach him, but I decided to bury his body out in a field nearby. Someday I'll take you there, when you're ready."
They looked around for a few more hours. The search hadn't produced much, but it was answering a few questions, but it didn't answer what it had to do with the first site they found and ZU, and who had done this, and if they'd done it already.
Hours later, they felt they'd searched the laberynth that was the prisons.
"Alright SofI." said GD. "We want out of here."
"Well, I'm not sure how to do that. You see, I'm not exactly sure where the next exit is. I believe one of them is blocked off, the other is the main area, which would take a while to get back to, and the other one is well guarded, even right now. It'd be faster, but it'd be more risky."
"I think we can take it." said DD.
"Do you now?" said SofI. "Alright."
He led them around and around, until, finally, they reached a set of stairs.
"Ok, this is where I leave you."
