are we allowed to submit animations?

I'm writing two fanfics at the momento, and I am going to make some fanarts too. I think I'll save them on my computer at the moment, in case ZU experiences another loss of data. That way I can just re submit.

Do u guys think that this artwork looks ok? I'm trying to build up a character...

Where do I find a scanner? If you can tell me where to find a scanner, once I get it I'll gladly submitt some of my art. It dosen't have a name, but I could make one up.

Yeah I had a story on the old Zelda Universe site. I will gladly submit it again, along with a couple more that I have, but I had a problem when I went to the Add Story link. It told me I was unauthorised, or something , and it wouldn't let me back on.
Sorry if this has already been answered, but I can't find this written anywhere else.

EDIT: OK, I managed to find the original thread that answers my question... please 'scuse my ignorance :cool: .

2- Wh is everything so... different looking? Like, the black background and links missing and very de-updated? I'm guessing it's an old link leading to the old site.

Looks to be a database error on the ZU servers. Those happen occasionally and are nothing big to worry about.

Now, what I want to know is 1) how long have both the fanfic and the fanart sections on the main site been completely useless, 2) how does the eWriting/fanfic section even work, and 3) how long before everything gets fixed? The management seem gung-ho about having the largest collection of fanart on the web, but it's been well over a year and nothing's been done about it. The mods and developers can't be that busy, can they?

I don't submit my fanfic because the site only allows a certain file extension. I can't remember what it is, but I know it sucks. I can't be bothered to transfer everything; I'll only submit if you start accepting .doc files.

I feel like I've been shot in the head. I posted about my fanfic here, called "The Legend of Zelda: Newfound Powers", but I only got one reply for it and that was before I started posting chapters. Why no one will reply, I don't know. And don't say it's probably because my fanfic sucks, because I know it doesn't. I'm actually a good story writer and I'm very good at writing rhyming poems. In fact, I'm thinking about writing a poem about Link and the character I made up for my story, whose name is Kelli by the way. If no one replies to my story thread, how am I supposed to know wether anyone likes it or not? And I'm warning you all, if you don't read the story, you'll miss out on all the secrets in it, including the biggest secret of them all, which has to do with Link's and Kelli's past. So please read the story if you want to know the secrets I've put in about things like Link's and Kelli's past, Kelli herself, and more. I'm even gonna write Kelli's story when LoZ: NP is finished. So read, read, read!

P.S. I forgot to mention, my story is also submitted on fanfiction.net too and over there, I have four chapters saved.

I suck at drawing!! My drawings aren't worthy!!

Another thing about my story is, I even drew and colored individual pictures of Kelli and her horse, Sunfire. They look really good too. I just wish I knew how to show them on ZU. Later, I'm going to do a picture of Kelli on her horse. Not only this, but I also composed Kelli's Song, which is the one new melody Link learns in the story. I've put a lot of work into this fanfic and I think I deserve some credit, thank you very much!

Whenever I try to read a story it just says N/A in where the text should be. Also, no-one ever makes reviews, and the majority of the stories there are just titles with no chapters in at all. The fan-fic and fan-art section on the main site are going down. It's just a lot more productive to post your stories on the forums.

Well, I can't put any chapters on the story I submitted in the fanfiction section because the website won't let me for some reason. And I have the no-reviews and no-replies problem too. And what's worse, my story is definitely worth reading. The people here don't know what they are missing out on. And I bet if anyone saw the pictures I did of those two characters, Kelli and Sunfire, they'd be all like 'Wow Kelli looks brave and couragous' or 'What a beautiful horse Sunfire is' and they'd definitely want to read my story. So it would be nice if people would read my story and reply to the thread I have on it. And like I said before, I put a lot of work and effort into this story, so I deserve some credit.
