Hey, everyone has their own opinion. Then again, I know that some people just look to see which "good" sig makers have entered and vote for them.

Funny, I thought I had a very good chance at placing in the last 2-3 SotW's.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that. Everyone has their own opinion. I for example, rather like your entry, but I found several to be better.

I thought I had a good chance myself last week. I see now.

That really may account for like 2 votes. I don't know that I'm considered very good, but I did quite well with a piece I wasn't very happy with.

Looks, guys, I have respect for anyone who submits their work here, regardless of votes. We're all learning, trying to get better at what we do, and that's fun stuff. I get frown-ish when I see people come in here and say something like they were upset they didn't get as many votes as they had thought they would. Honestly, if my sig doesn't come first it just means that someone made something better than me that appeals to more people. That's fine and congrats to that person. Let's stop with the upset attitudes or self-doubt over lack of votes.

It's not that I'm upset, it's just that I don't see how it connects with how many people tell me I have really great work. xP

Enough. This isn't a stroke-your-graphic-ego thread. You want to know why people didn't vote for you? Honestly, message them on their walls and ask them or something. I'm not saying this meanly, Ranny. If you want to know what you're doing right/wrong on an individual basis, go directly to the source and ask.

I can't do anything about the banner, unforunately, as it's on Ja-kun's Photobucket. Liah, go kick him and make it active again!

Ranil, if it's any consolation, I think yours is the best sig for this week's theme by a pretty large amount.

EDIT: Oh well, the candle has been taken.

Frozen: The Joker sig, as much as I'm sick of seeing that character, is much better than the Spiderman one.

Davey: I love the retro style of this, and the text blends in nicely.

Wow, there are ALOT of entries! 16!

I'm really liking Davey's and SephiTotth's.

I think I might take a break from SotW to focus on getting my sig shop back up. My attention has been on the podcast, but we'll see what happens. If I really like a theme, though, I'll probably throw something in there.
