I would actually like it to be regular, seems fun, those wallpapers.

I'd like to see other stuff going on here other than SotW - I love the weekly contests, but some other kind of contest would be nice.

Like, maybe, a Sprite Comic Contest of some sort?

We could leave the comic to the shantytown members, maybe we could make them instead?

Speaking of other kinds of contests, I've recently been thinking about a Funny Photoshop contest. If anyone reads cracked.com or any other various places on the web that have similar contests, you'll know what I'm talking about. A chance for us all to have a good chuckle and practice our photoshopping (or other image editing program) techniques at the same time.

Suggestions/ideas made me smile. (:

So, what you're saying is to manipulate an image, like a british guard standing next to a door, and put something funny, like an american with a gun barging in?

Well, it would depend on the theme. For example, you could have 'What ZU Members Do In Their Spare Time', and I could Photoshop a picture of Liah kicking a cat clear across a room.

It's only been two. <_<

AND IT'S CAUSE COUNTING ALL THE VOTES IS A SURPRISINGLY SLOW PROCESS THAT I DON'T LIKE DOING.

It's 41 sign ups now, and the last one we have in the hall of them is 38. Soooo, I'll get to counting 39 and 40 very shortly!

On wallpapers--since it's a new thing, I'd suggest doing it maybe once a month maybe for the next two months and if it proves successful, we can do it more often. And when we do it once, that'll take the place of Siggeh of the Week, so that'll be just two wallpaper comps in the next two months. I'd rather not go jumping into making it a totally separate weekly competition straight away--I think it best to test the waters first. Anyone else?

To be honest, I think Monthly is a better idea. Making a wallpaper is far more time consuming than making a signature. Once a month will give people time to make something they're happy with, as well as to procrastinate .

I think what fratey means is that the practice of PMing the participants announcing the winners of the week's contest has ceased.
