Frozen: Thanks! It's cool to hear that--I started out with stylized wavy lines for the water and found some neat curlicue brush for the crest of the wave, so I sort of had that WW style in mind at the start...and then I totally covered over it with everything else. XD But it's cool you can still see that influence.

i think we should do away with these "color" themes (eg blue) because i think that's just a lack of creativity on our part

Yeah, I thought doing one color was enough for like...six months. Unless it's more specific, like you have to use only these three specific hexadecimal shades of color or something like that.

Edit: For that matter rock stars isn't that different from other music themes we've done, but at least it's been a while longer since one.

Well this sucks, I have to reformat my computer (drawing computer) back to XP since trying 7 on it was a fail. Plus, I'm going to work full time at my job now, so I barely get to get on here.

I just got an idea. What if a theme is something specific, like only vector sigs, or only filters, or even only the pen tool (would be hella tough), like you could still use a render or stock but the background has to be made using filters/pentool, w/e. It would definitely be a challenge for most. An abstract theme would be cool too.

I like the idea of ZU Members as a theme! I was thinking about that and it could be a tonne of fun. I guess, though, the only thing is that it'll be a bit restricting for newbies who want to participate (and I'm pleased to see some new talented peeps submitting fantastic sigs).

Also, GKANG, I like the Clothing Brands theme

d00d, we've already done an abstract theme *nods* If you go check out the Hall of Fame stickied here in the Competitive Graphics, you'll see all the themes we've done so far. Though! I do dig the idea of vector/pentool I don't know if I'd want to get too into being specific with an idea like use a render/BG has to be filters/pentool, honestly, because we like a challenge, but also should keep things broad so more people can enter, you know? I think if there was one specification (like we did with the pre-chosen image one) that could work.

Also, mods of these forums--you guys needs to update the Hall of Fame. Like, for srs, is modding over the GD just sticking threads created by Frozen (nothing against my homeboy, Frozen <3). I'm not being *****y here, I promise, but it's getting kinda ridiculous. Every other forum has a mod that watches over it and we have mods who pop in every now and then to sticky threads.

Wellllll, to be fair, Duo has dissapeared from GD, and bj is busy anyway, hence why I've been creating the threads in the first place. Don't be too harsh on them, Liah dear. :33
