Definitely 2. Nice and simple, attractive without being cluttered and obnoxious. The subtle and understated font is nice, too.

I think we should make sig voting and posting anonymous. I'm doing a sig contest in Smashboards that way. Sometimes I feel like people vote just because they know the person. We should PM the sigs to the host of the contest and only he'll know the names and announce the sig and who won. So far its working nice on the boards. Just a thought...
