Re: Paint Competition -- Voting!

Chari! Weren't there five entries? Where did the last one go? I know that fish dropped out but wasn't Dean taking his place?

*is probably not allowed to vote*

And I still hate the fact that the added a new skin and made it so that the invisible color was different...

Re: Paint Competition -- Voting!

I really like Vadrus', I'm a big fan of horror and bloody things. If not, it'd be Dog Dog's for the small simplicity in it. Then it'd be Pain's, then Zero Hex.

Dog dog would have to be the best for me because it just sticks out the most!

I still say that one of the entries was left out... -_-;

The simplicity of it was driving me insane. It started out being larger and having 2 other parts to it, but the picture hadn't resized well and wouldn't have looked bad without using Gimp to fix it up alittle. Oh well. The original was somewhere in here, which was basically a huge mess of whatever and random things I started thinking of and then gave up on... Anyways, originally it was the thing in the top left corner, then it became the ucky looking bird ones with two extra white lines. Then the empty space was driving me insane and I couldn't think up anything to fill the spot other then adding another picture which is why there are so many random things dumped on there. And I wasn't happy with how any of it was looking. Then Photobucket shrank the insane huge 3000 or so pixel document which hides half the work...

How does the smallest thing up there stick out the most?

*still thinks an entry was missed*

Re: Paint Competition -- Voting!

DogDog's is the best up there, but the "invisible color," as she calls it, destroyed most of the sig's beauty.

Still the best up there, though.

You can't do real invisibility with GIMP. Also, the ugly green one simply happened to be the one that Chari chose to put in her post. I also have the version that was edited so that it works with all skins. Anyways, I blame Scott for adding a new skin after all the junk I was working on had odd edges. If it weren't for that, I would have set it to the green skin that the majority of the members were using... Yeah. Still not happy with the color behind it. Scott didn't pick pretty colors for the new skin.

^That version shows up right for everyone... Simply couldn't use it as a real entry because I edited it in Photoshop...

And now I'll shut up.

Re: Paint Competition -- Voting!

I know two different styles. The one Zero Hex used is a one usually used on Gamerenders, and I like it. Dog Dog used a more of a sig that you would see on ZU, and I used to make sigs such as that. Right now, I really can't vote, but it is between them. It is a very hard decision.

I'll have to go with Zero Hex, as it seems as it took more time and effort.

I voted for Doggy.

I still can't believe that was made in Paint. Lookin' great, Doggy.

The others are all nice, too.

That was actually the simplist thing I had started working on... And I used Microsoft on it too, not just Paint...

Everyone in this thread had a different style. I'm still trying to figure out how Chari did the line effect on her signature... And yeah, Zero probably did more work on the thing he submitted, but it doesn't look like it'd be all that hard to copy it... And still the person who did the most work was left out of the poll.... Dean, how long did that take you to do anyways?

I don't know. I drew it on paper in school and then spent some hours working on and off on it. I never keep track of time. <_<

Edit: Voted for Dog Dog. lol
