SotW & WotM Discussion Thread: Big Box of German Cheese

Welcome, welcome, one and all!

We are quite happy to bring to you, the Sig of the Week contests of ZU! So, because we haven't done this before, it's probably smart to give some explaination.

Pretty much, we, the idiots in charge of this all, will put up an entry thread each week. It shall have a theme and a few general rules. Then, you all make a sig based on that and post your entries in the Entry thread! Then, in a week, we will put up two more threads. One of them will be a voting thread for the first contest. The second will be the entry thread for the next sig of the week contest. And it shall continue like that. Feel free to suggest theme ideas in here, and put any other discussions or comments you feel like posting there as well.

So this is the discussion thread. Here you can put...

1. Theme of the week suggestions.
2. Comments on the contest.
3. Any new ideas for the contest.
4. Do NOT put spam. We will delete it.
5. Just about anything relating to SotW.

Oh, and for the record, please do not bring any sorts of negativity into this thread. Commenting on people's sigs is alright, no biggie. However, don't come in here whining about your lack of votes, or looking for some form of ego stroking. Be humble and have fun with it (even though they're competitions).

So, discuss away! We love to hear your opinions!

That's totally wicked, whatever is Halloween associated! But I forbid the usage of candy corn in any sorts of signatures. Anyone with candy corn will be beaten!

Abstract AGAIN? Didn't we just have that theme recently?

Either way, I don't enter the abstract themed weeks, so I guess I'm sitting this week out.

And cats? No. I wouldn't enter that week either. I'm not a fan of them. Now dogs, I'll do. <3 Yeah, for next week I vote:

As they are much cuter, funnier, and better than cats. ^^

Next week's theme should be RPGs because I like RPGs!

It's not really a good idea to base theme ideas on things that you specifically like. It's always going to be better if you choose something neutral that you know many people will like!

Maybe 'vibrant' (colours)?

Uh. wouldn't we all want themes that we like? :/

Anyway, maybe it should just be both cats and dogs for one week or just pets for one week.

Additional suggestion.

Halo objects.

Anything you really want or idealize/find fascinating? make a sig out of it.

Lets people that like cars do cars, people that like watches do watches, people that like vintage wine do vintage wine, people that like . . . marbles? do marbles. etc. as long as it is a object. Like something one would collect.

Edit: considering this is a game forum perhaps halo objects isn't the best choice of words, but I can't think of a different term for them atm.
