I liked Umi's sig quite a bit, but... are we allowed to use limited colour like that? Cause if we can, it gives me a few ideas for what I could scrunge up.

I just figured as long as the sig is predominantly black and white, it should be fine.

This is going to be a tough contest to judge. Many great entries.

no actually it is a block of nothing. It's transparent. Except for, of course, the drop shadow and gradient shading.

I always figured that the theme wasn't actually enforced by the rules since the rules don't say anything about it so technically you could interpret the theme as broadly as you wanted and post anything you wanted without getting disqualified as long as you stuck to the rules.

I actually thought your signature was clever, and yes, it could be seen as abstract.

As for the rules, I'm pretty sure entries must be somewhat relevant to the theme, however the theme itself can be subject to interpretation.

If we can have a tiny bit of color I am definitely going to fix mine.

I just tallied up the votes from #51 and I can't believe I actually won In my eyes Davey had the best entry

Edit: I'm really liking Umi's entry. That has my vote for sure.

Honestly, when I looked over SOTW 51, I thought you had it hands down. I loved your entry.

I find it interesting to see who people voted for and why rather than just being displayed a bunch of numbers. I suppose the posting of votes encourages higher graphics discussion.

It's because polls can only have 10 different things for you to vote on while we get more submissions than that and it conflicts with our voting system (vote three).
