The first one. The second was very artistically/skillfully done, but I wouldn't want it as a desktop wallpaper. The first one was much more like a wallpaper should be, and it's very visually impressive as well.

First one, definately. It's more creative, more crisp, and overall more appealing to the eye. I didn't like the second one very much, to be honest. I was expecting something more from somebody who had to win the first round to advance to the second. But oh well.

I like the first one. It's a creative way to convey the theme, with the map outline, and the boat overlapping the border.

The second one is too bright for my likes. x.x

The First one. It's very creative, sharp, and somehow reminds me of Zelda. Awesome job.

Number two. I don't like the sheer simplicity of number one. It doesn't look like much has been done to it, thus, Number 2 takes the cake.

I don't really like either, but the second one is superior.

The second just looks better, in my opinion.

The first wallpaper.

HMMM.
This one is tough.

Since I like wallpapers as minimalistic as possible, I'm voting for wallpaper one. The second is nicely done though.

The second one isn't loading for me. ImageShack is probably just being dysfunctional, I'll come back later.

EDIT: Mmkay, it's working now. I'm voting for the second wallpaper, but the first is really cute.

Second. The first is really low quality.

Quite tough, as both are well made, but I'm going to go with the first because the colors appeal to me more.

First one, no contest. The second is bland and unappealing. I also really like the texture in the first one.

Hmm....very tough choice. Both of them are REALLY good and look like they required maximum effort. In fact, the second looks like it took even more effort to make than the first. That doesn't mean I like it better, though.

The second one looks way too busy and isn't colorful OR vibrant. It's a great piece of art, but I wouldn't choose it to be my wallpaper if I had to look at it in the desktop everytime I use the compy. The first one, though, looks very appealing to the eye and perfect for a wallpaper.

In other words, I'm voting for the First One!

First one. Took a lot more effort, I'm sure, and is quite nice looking

I'mma have to go with the first one. I like both, but the second seems a little....eh....choppy? IDK, it was close.

I'm gonna have to say number 2. The only thing I'd have worked on a bit was the text, but overall it was very creative and appealing. Nice job.

Voting for the first.

I don't like either much, but the second one hurts my eyes to look at. And it's too mixed up. Bright colors are everywhere. The writing in the back appears to be from Lord of the Rings. And it's still too bright. The first one might be more plain, but at least it doesn't kill my eyes.
