The January Contest Voting thread!

Hello there, this is Pokemon Trainer Gold speaking! Today we have five Pokemon entries for you Pokefanatics to choose from. But first you must answer this question:

Are you a BOY or a GIRL?

...Yes, that is a very important question!

Now that the question has been answered here are the entries!

Yes, before people: ask any type of artwork is allowed, as long as you made it. This includes pictures of something you made, pottery, flash animations and even food as long as you make it and relates to the theme. :>

Now voting will go for about four days. When voting, vote for the entry you like the most followed by the entry you like next. So voting Two entries, guys. When you vote for these entries please put the title and the entry number, as otherwise we won't have any idea who exactly you're voting for.

First choice: #5: PaperMon - This incredible on so many levels that it shatters reality. THE greatest entry I have ever seen in my life.

Second choice: #3: Nostaliga - The reason is the same as the title.

Numero Uno: Entry 3, Nostalgia-- The coloring is what stands out the best here. The colors used are very appealing. It rounds it out to a very appealing drawing.

Numero Dos: Entry 4, Jynxed-- One of the more original entries. The face on the right is damn funny.

First vote: Mother****ing PAPERMON: DUDE, that is one of the most awesome things I have ever, ever seen, like holy ****. I think the style of it is a little obvious as to who it is ;DDD but omgggg that made my jaw drop. Best entry I've seen submitted to these contests. Fantastic work.

Second vote: Jynxed: Really strange and different. I'm not quite sure what to make of it o.o but it certainly caught my attention.

First Vote: PaperMon. That is epic!! I loved it! Id totally play pokemon if it were that!

Second Vote: Jynxed. Its weird.

First Vote: For Papermon. It's so awesome and adorable. Despite it being so short, it was well executed. Makes me wish they did make something like at Nintendo, just so we could see a Paper Blue whine about picking the wrong Pokemon.

Second Vote: Jynxed. Just because it stood out as being both weird and amusing.

First Choice: Entry Number Five: PaperMon
So good on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin. I want to play this. Right now. Or just watch an entire Pokemon game in that style. Lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove.

Second Choice: Entry Number Four: Jynxed
So neat, loooove the face on the right. ****. o_o

Runner-Up:Entry Number One: Misty
Loved this, just barely edged out. Loooove the pencil work. :3

Entry # 5: PaperMon: It's an interesting concept of Pokemon, and it's definitely a very nice entry.

Entry # 3: Nostalgia: Loving the use of color and the pokemans in the composition.

First vote: Papermon - Damn well done, me likey

Second vote: Nostalgia - Loved the stylized drawing, and the vibrant colors

First vote: Papermon. I don't know much about animation, but it's pretty awesome and something different for a change.

Second vote: Nostalgia I like the colours and the whole composition very much. It's very cute too.


I probably would have voted for the Misty entry, it's a very nice pencil work. But it doesn't look like Misty to me and it somehow lacks a connection to pokemon. Still a great picture though.

Also number 5, and then number 3 for me.
Both have something very good to it.

Papermon: Woow... Just wow. This is the most awesome entry I've ever seen around! Seriously, I'd love to play this game now so badly. I can't believe how the artist could make it so epic, but... yeah. Words cannot describe this awesomeness.

Nostalgia: Simple, sweet and nice colored. That's a pretty entry as well. :3

ENTRY FIVE - OH MY GAWD... THIS... THIS... THIS IS @#$%ING AMAZING!

Whoever did this wins the entire internet. I swear on it!

And then Entry 1 for the nice portrait work. I love the emotions in it. I'd also like to see Misty realistically. <3

Entry Five - PaperMon:

Absolutely fantastic! Not only a very cute and creative idea, but very well executed. The Paper-ized music was a good touch as well.

Entry Three - Nostalgia:

I love the use of colours - it's very bright and pretty!

(Entry One - Misty, is my runner-up, for its great shading work)

Entry Five - Papermon

It's simply adorable! The music and animation are nice, and the idea is very creative.

Entry Four - Misty

The shading is very nice, and it has a lot of detail in it. =]
