Just joking (I should really be saying that for everyone on here). Congratulations! That is quite an accomplishment. What exactly was the competition, something like a spelling bee?

Did you win anything besides the honor of being the best at grammar in Hungary, Nesi?

How much trouble would I be in if the mechanics working on my car happened to find a pipe? A buddy of mine dropped and lost it...I couldn't find it either.

It depends on the mechanics. Some may take it and use it themselves, others may report it, others, still, would just shrug and carry on. I'd imagine it just depends on the personal opinion of the mechanic who finds it. Also, if your buddy didn't find it, and he was looking for it, I doubt a mechanic would find it, especially if what they're doing to the car has nothing to do with the area your friend dropped it in.

That's what I'm thinking. It was a pretty bad ass pipe so I kinda wanted to find it for myself.

Thanks! Well, Hungarian grammar has a looots of silly, illogical and boring rules, and basically the competition was about if you can use these rules correctly or not.
In fact, the only reason I can use them is because I read books all the time. ^^
