For those of you who have been paying attention, this year's battle was put to a vote to determine the teams to be pitted against each other. After gaining a majority vote, the Gender Wars were once again declared. Upon hearing this Shots announced that there would be no other to lead the men, and in the absence of the Raining Queen of ZU, Margar stepped up for Asia. With that, it was on, and there has been planning behind the curtains ever since.

Now it is time for us to pull the curtains back and open this up to the public. that's right, you. The captain of the men, as said, is Power Shot, and his assistant captain (who will be in charge while Shots is in Japan this June) will be Lex. Margar will lead the girls, backed by DogDog. Amd this whole thing is being run by none other then myself and the lovely Kasuto.

This is where you come in. Each team will need soldiers to battle for them in vicious fights to determine which gender rains supreme. As well, we will need judges to decide the winners of the battles (assuming there are any survivors who managed to get away from the battlefield between Shots and Margar). If you are interested in being a judge, please let either Kassi, or myself know. We will decide betweem our selves who we feel will be fair, responsible judges and announce who we have picked at a latter date.

Speaking of dates, don't go asking for many because we don't have any set yet. However, we have a general time frame. As I mentioned above, Power Shot will not be here for al of June as he is taking a trip to Japan. Because of this, the month of June will be open for any and all trash talking. I expect it to be of epic value and look forward to it. We will keep this thread updated with any developements during that time. When Shots gets back in July, we will give him some time to get settled back in, and cought up on what's going on. Then, it will comence.

We hope things will run much smoother this year because of the advanced planning we have done, and what we feel is a better organized team running things.

I think that about covers everything we have so far. So everyone have fun and spread the word!

It is not first come, first serve.

We will be closing applications after two weeks. Please see my post in this thread for more details. =)

I'm game.
But, what events are we doing?

Very manly events, such as a High Five Challenge, a Mud Wrestling Watching Tournament (where the winner shall be determined by who had the best audience), and Beer Pong. But those are several examples of feeble things women can't do properly.

As stated, the Man Team will be without me for the month of June, as I go explore the darkest regions of Japan (and Japanese women). I expect it to be very much like a safari.

Wait, so... No high-five contest?

Well, since refs were taken out... I suppose I'll have to try to be a judge. (As long as you allow it, of course.)

As I siad, we will wait until we have everyone's in (within reasonable time), then pick from who we have.

As for events, they will most liekly be same, or similar to last year's, but hopefuly with a few new ones as well.

People! What kind of events do you want to see? Remember, Last year we had a brawl tournament (that was terribly difficult to manage), an essay contest, artwork melee, Haiku-Off, and a singing contest. I think those were the only events.

Please make suggestions and let us know which of last years events you liked and which ones you didn't like.

Also, I'm ALL FOR ADDING A FREAKING BELCHING CONTEST!

ZU already had three big brawls (ZU tourny, GW1, and for the clans). Not to mention that there is a spring brawl going on. Therefore, I think the possible GW II brawl idea should be thrown out.

Agreed.

However, I think the haiku off, the singing comp, essay battle, and the art work melee were all great and should make a come back. As well, since we have done a lot more planning ahead of time, I wouldn't mind taking a shot at getting the debate together this time.

That's right everyone. We are adding a logo contest to really kick things off this year. Artist please enter. Think of it as some trash talking for the artwok melee. Speaking of which, this is the artwork melee.
