Skype would be how we do it, if we do VOIP.
and I do kind of think that if we do trivia, we should have a mix of Zelda, and other stuff, just to keep it fun.

Well if you want to be officially a man-team supporter, you should join the men's social group and simply start joining in on the roasting and trash-talking

Behind the scenes, the leaders and oragnizers of this war are coming up with the logistics ofhow to conduct things since it's bigger than last year. Right now we're trying to decide which events to have,so if you would like to give your opinions and ideas, go right ahead. this thread is forofficial plans/announcements and stuff.

Yup, but sadly, I'm not allowed to take it out to the public. But, you wouldn't want to stop any surprises, right?

Okay, what is the public's thoughts on which events we should go with? Tell us which ones you would like and give a good reason why. Kassi, my self and the captains will be making a decision in the up comming week, and we would like some public imput on it.

I really like haiku, dares, the idea of zelda trivia, balloon animals, rap battle (perhaps to replace singing), art of any medium...

Well, I've already given my thoughts.

To reiterate though, I think we should look at what didn't work last time and why, and see how it can be fixed. As for the new ideas, we should look at what can be replaced.

While the haiku was fun, it didn't strike me as something which we should do every time. A couple of the others had a similar feel. Brawl in particular.

I think most people agree that there's no need to do a brawl battle this time, but I had a ton of fun reading the haikus last year. Balloon animals could be quite fun... but how would it be scored? A rap battle would be very fun, too, but should it replace singing?

Margar, I think we're on the same idea here.

Brawl battles were hard to organize, no body actualy got to see them, and there are already others going on.

I also liked the haiku battles, but I think we should keep in mind that it was another one with time considerations and took a wile to get worked out.


Balloon animals I won't say I dislike, but it's not one of my first choices. I don't know exactly how it would be marked (although my awesomeness will figure it out), and it seems like it might be a little dull.

I think a rap battle and a singing competition are two different things and one should not rule out the other. How ever, as far as a rap battle goes I think to make it interesting and how a rap battle should be (between at least two people) it would be hard to do, but it could be done.

The game show I think is an interesting idea to put on the podcast. If we've rule out the debate, I think we should do this.

The pictionary thing seems interesting. I'd never heard of that site before and I think we should mayby do a little test run or something with it.

I like all the battles from last year. I don't think there's a need
to get rid of any of them (except the brawl battle, as mentioned above). The only one I think we may need to take a look at is the essays.

And although I would get a great laught out of this, I think it's a little bit...small (for lack of a better term) for an event. Not much time or effort put into it. Is there something else similarily "small" that could possicly go with it? Make them like a 2 part event.

I could participate in the belching contest. I'd probably win, fyi. Lassies cannot belch and not too many people can belch on command.

Location for belching? Awesome.

We could record ourselves in a mall or where ever a burp as people walk by.

Anyway- yeah I thought judging by location could make it a funny way to shake things up

If I suggested it, don't you think that indicates that girls can too belch? Soda aids should be used though, because it scientifically makes sense. I imagine we could have this one run similar to the dares from last year.

Also, I think that doing the same thing every year might get kind of old, and that's why I suggested the rap battle replace the singing contest. Similar concept, but changing it up. Brawl, yeah, that's ruled out. Essay was kind of boring to me, to be honest. It was too serious. I would vote to rule it out.

Balloon animals, we can judge on colour, number of balloons, creativity, and overall appearance. It could happen. =)

Pictionary also could be pretty fun. Maybe we could have that one over Skype too, but not necessarily recorded, you know? Multiple people can join the conversation without hooking up their microphones. Just listening and typing if they want to be spectators.

I like the dares, but how could we give that a face lift? Maybe having the belching contest and dare idea combine. ie, the teams choose where the belches have to happen? That might be a fun twist.

*think think think* Haiku went smoothly last year from what I remember. I loved watching them happen. I thought the idea was pretty genius. What other ways could we change that around if we want to do that?

Let it be known! Jason has put the announcement up on the main page. Hopefuly that (along with the up comming podcast which will plug us a bit) means that the war will become even bigger and badder!
