I'm in. I can always help with the artwork. Damn final exams, can't really do anything until June.

We also had the dare challenge last year. that was fun.

We wanted to have a podcast debate, but we couldn't get it together. It might be cool if we could actually get it going this time.

It was incidentally mentioned in the Webmaster debate that there should be a Zelda game show. I was wondering if this could have possibilities. It could be a 10-min or less deal, have a few guests, & a host who'd ask Zelda trivia questions. It could be like Jeopardy, or another style, since it does need to be understood by sound. I like that. I was thinking of having a trivia game but couldn't figure out how it would work on a forum. However the podcast would be perfect for that!

I'd like a trivia game so long as it was fairly presented, ie no stupid America-based questions (How the hell was I suppose to know that Lincoln was on the penny?)

I don't look at their goddamn coins. Not my fault they can't decide which one was best and plaster him on all of the things. Now the Queen, that's a head I like on my coins.

Now for the ideas:

• A cook off: ...because food can not be eaten through the internet, it will be judged on appearence (the food itself, and the plate), as well as use of the major food item. (Yay for a rip off of Iron Chef!) The food items will have to be photography taken so everyone can see, and what-not.
  
• The Roast: To prevent flaming on the forums, it could be done on the podcast. This idea has been sugguested before, but was never executed.
  
  
• Eating Contest: (Na, won't work.)
  
  
• Balloon Fun: The person/people who make the best creature/item out of a certain number of ballons will get their team a point.

Yeah, I can't really think of anything good....

Of all these suggestions, to be blunt, the only one that sounds really appealing is the podcast trivia game.

• No, as a cook I can't allow a competition of food to be based only on appearence. Food is about taste, this notion of tasting with the eyes is a recent problem. It's too easy to make bad food look good, and there are a lot of good foods which look horrible (see: Indian cusine).

Destruction of character: There are two images. One of Power Shot, and one of Margar (perhaps with other people). The goal is to pretty much destroy their character by editing the image to make them look as stupid and rediulous as possible. The lads will have Margar, and the lassies will have Power Shot. Anything goes, as long as it is within ZU's rules. Any program can be used, from MS Paint, to Photoshop. ...because it is nearly impossible to do this one person at a time, each participate will be given one of the two images. The person who seems to destroy their character the best will get their team a point. The team with the most points win. (This stuff can be changed to make everything easier.)

this could be quite fun! seeing the results would be quite amusing!

as for the roast- as a competition it wouldn't work, but a roast of the loser could be amazingly fun

Animation contest- basically, whoever can make the funniest or best looking animated movie on their computer. Animated .GIF files should be allowed, but you can also YouTube some of them too.

Don't know about the animation contest, as there's probably already a different art contest.

Alex suggested a rap battle, perhaps in place of the singing contest or essay contest or something? I thought it was cute. (Contestants won't know the topic to rap about until just a moment before the battle begins.)
