[ZUBC] "Be On the Podcast" Thread (your ideas too)- Read opening post please!

I don't have any recording equipment , although I do have lots of great ideas to share!

For ST first impressions, I have quite a bit of them, which I shall post later since I am too lazy to type them all now.

Also, for the music, would it be cool to use the ZREO version of the ST trailer theme?

I don't think they would mind as long as you don't profit from the Podcast or anything.

I know the two thread thing can be confusing (I know it was for me), but that belongs here.

Anyways, it looks like I won't be making that recorded thing about Spirit Tracks.

Austin -- if you can script it, I'm sure we can get Link to read it out.

If the idea is mostly thought up and the person who thought of it wants to do it themselves, then I think emailing us would be the best way, but if someone wants to give a basic idea and have some discussion and other peoples' ideas added in, then this thread is the best place for it.

I'd make myself av available for the podcast for once; I have a decent microphone. That is, if anyone of you guys cares enough.

Sure, we care! we WANT more member-made content.

But, you can't sit there with a mocrophone, waiting for someone to tell you what to do.
Think of an idea (see the opening post of this thread for some suggestions), or get a partner and put your heads together.

Come up with a better-formed idea, and then contact Awkin for specific details.

Yeah. At the point Power Shot simply announces what he feels like doing during the PodCast and everyone goes with it. So, if I wanted to do a segment interviewing Link about celebrity gossip in Hyrule, there would be absolutely nothing Margar could do to stop my incredible madness. This is how I got away with making pedophile jokes on the newest PodCast.

I have a microphone. And Skype. And a functioning head. So I'd be available, I guess, if anyone would care.

I'm not entirely sure about my mic's quality, though, becasue I've never really gotten any notable feedback on it. I guess it's not total ****, though.

Seriously, I think the best person to evaluate voices are the hosts themselves, and I believe I will be good in choosing

abyss master: make sure there aren't any background noises or stuf like that and you should be fine.

I know you would be good to evaluate peoples' recordings, and you can...
but I don't want to be giving people 27 different email addresses and contacts.

SO, I suggest people use out contributions thread or general ZUBC e mail account (zucast@zeldauniverse.net) for everything. they can put ATTN: Link in the subject line if they want.

also- what's your skype account name so people can find you?

And I know what you mean, I just feel like doing some actual work on this podcast, but since I have lots of school stuff, I thought this is the least I could do, haha

Honestly, I liked the member interviews. I think we should swap that with Cody's rant because I'm sure everyone just skips that.

If there is anything in the next podcast that needs some work, but does not include recording... I wish to help.

Just thought "Ya-ay, possible involvement!"

Anyway, need to pop back in the feedback thread to congratulate and say how awesome Roscoe Roads voice is. ^-^

So yeah... we hope you enjoy what we have provided and will get back to us (Lavvy) with some feedback. And, Congratulations to Roscoe Roads from me too

Just wanted to pop in and give a public response, so people know we really do see this stuff and listen and consider it

Lavvy and Loffy- your segment is very entertaining, and we definately would like to include it in an upcoming cast- most likely July's.

I've spoken with Lavvy about what sorts of technical things to improve on, but even in its infancy, it's 95% perfect

Great job!

Everyone else- keep the ideas and contributions coming!!
