Fight Six: Artwork Melee Discussion Thread

Allllrighty, this is our second to last battle, here!

Welcome to the Artwork Melee Discussion Thread!

Remember to keep your eye on the first post for key updates and the like. Any discussion about the battle can take place here, but please do not inquire about the artists' actual work. It is best for everybody to keep their artwork relatively confidential so the opposing team does not have an advantage.

You may, however, like to converse with your teammates to prevent overlapping ideas/concepts.

So, here're some guidelines I've stolen from the essay thread:

Whatsists, Grading, and the Like

Contestants are asked to conjure up some form of art depicting their side of the battle.

Any artistic medium is acceptable, and creativity is encouraged! (painting, drawing, computer generated imagery, sculpting, etc)

The judging will be quite basic, and will only be on originality, idea, and artistic ability.

Our contestants are: -=Cobra=-, Virtigo, and Wired. Anime Queen, Liah, and Altamira

The fabulous judges are Mrs. Nenners, CourageWielder, Nolan, and Mattocks.

Rather basic. Idea is basically what their piece is, how it relates to the gender theme, same as all the other stuff. Couldn’t think of much, so like I said, it’s a pretty basic rubric for this one.

I hope the contestants have been working on their stuff! this melee thread has been quite silent! have the contestants confirmed that they're aware of the deadline?

I can't wait to see these. I hope someone did a sculpture or painting or something a bit different than your average drawing or photoshope thing (though those are sweet, too)

I've had my piece done for a few days--but I couldn't submit it yesterday because I had classes until the evening and a good deal of homework and studying for afterwards. Also, I was a late entry for the competition in the first place and only had maybe two days before the deadline of yesterday--so can I still submit my piece today when I get home from college? <___<;;

This is what's going on.

The entire forum are currently having a giant boy-vs.-girl fight, the likes of which you probably haven't seen since that girl in 3rd grade said that you and all your friends had cooties and smelled like poop.

Blitz, this is a part of the ongoing gender wars. Basically, there are several different battles between the males and females on ZU to determine which sex is superior. You can cheer from the sidelines, but the contestants have been chosen already. After artwork, there is one more battle, and the judges will determine the winners from there. ^-^
